Why must I contribute to society why is it not enough to simply kiss women and plant trees

one day you'll find someone who's right for you. someone who listens to you ramble about all of your favorite things, someone who kisses your forehead and hugs you from behind and reminds you they love you multiple times a day. you'll find someone who values personal time as much as the time spent going out together. you'll find someone who memorizes your triggers, your quirks, all of your tells. someone who knows you're anxious because "you're doing that thing with your hair," someone who knows you're happy because "you always tap that beat when you're happy." you'll find someone to celebrate the little things about you. the finer details, the minute insecurities, the things you don't find very special.

one day, you're going to find the love of your life. keep your head up, darling, they're out there.

until then, remember your worth. remember to keep yourself happy, keep yourself grounded. remember that you are beautiful, you are light, you are so special and deserving of love. let yourself love yourself. breathe in and allow yourself to feel proud of all you've done, all you've managed to do- whether that be a multitude of accomplishments or simply surviving, you have a lot to be proud of. don't let yourself forget that. take care of yourself and love will find you. you deserve it.

i can't wait to bake with my wife... dancing to the radio, getting flour on each other's noses, performing the necessary taste tests, sitting on the kitchen floor in each other's arms as we wait for the goodies to cook... idk about you but that sounds like bliss to me
