For years, I have lived under the assumption that I have no future, because this country hates people like me.

Whenever I see the privileged live their lives knowing that politics will never affect them, I envy them, because all I ever wanted was a feeling of safety.

All this country ever does is demonize people like me in the media all the time.

I use art as an escape from that. It's the only small power I possess, that I made for myself.

Behind the colorful art, there's an individual constantly wondering every day what, if any, human rights I will have in the times ahead.

I'm fucking tired of this country. I'm tired of the privileged saying "no politics." I'm tired of the privileged not caring about their fellow neighbors.
