I’m gonna summarize this week because it wasn’t the greatest. It was a bit of a rot week, even though I did my best to get some work done I was really struggling. I think I need to ease up on the video games IMO, so that will be my goal for this coming week!

Happy Sunday,

I did absolutely nothing academically productive on Saturday so I attempted to make up for it by going to a coffee shop. I pretty much just sat here the whole afternoon attempting to understand a codebase I have to work with for a project.

But did I understand shit? Debatable.

But was this coffee shop such a lovely study spot? Yes!!

New study space unlocked- I could see myself coming back here on the weekends.

God I don’t want to go into work tomorrow, best of luck everyone for the upcoming week. May we make it out in one piece.

Trying to squeeze in an italian study session before work. I started watching the show “my brilliant friend” so I can emerse myself more with the italian language through more forms of media. Summer studying challenge day three: do you have a specific goal for this summer? I want to finish prep notes for my A-levels (almost done); complete my summer work (partly done); work on my EPQ and a club I’m co-running next year (partly done); and brush up on GCSE content :)

day two: 14/7 how have your plans changed due to the pandemic?

well i was meant to go oxford for a week and that isn't happening now :(( but overall not much. my parents were going to go to away for a while and leave me alone in the house over my birthday so there may have been some party-type deal, but its nbd we can just celebrate outside ✨🌿

day three: 15/7 do you have a specific goal for this summer?

not particularly, i just need to sort myself out a bit in the academic sense lol

My school hasn't made any solid decisions about fall term and I am already super stressed since I've been moving around my class schedule, hoping to accommodate and prepare for all possibilities. I just want answers ㅠㅠ

Anyways, I had a productive start to this weekend. Read from my textbook about intelligence being measured across different cultures, which was super interesting. I also found a quote (the highlighted one in the picture) that I needed to hear since I was beating myself up over quiz scores last week hahaaa.

But I hope everyone has a good holiday tomorrow and stay safe !! 🤍

What are you plans for this summer?

I want to finish all my courses on edx and earn a certificate. I'm a little behind with my courses currently, and I'm feeling a bit anxious about it. But I'm sure that if I push through, I'll make it!
