★ ━━━━━━ She was Human, and so fragile with hos she was made, but never in his mind did Vlad dream of harming her-- she was useful, for himself and the people of the land, for the place that was Wallachia. Why he hadn't moved the castle again, he was tired, and it took strength he couldn't muster to channel energy to make it work, his mind was near empty of anything bad, just surviving day-to-day, and now with Lisa in the midst of his life, it seemed he was coming alive again, slowly.
They both had worked tirelessly to hone the skills they possessed, and so they both knew triumph and defeat in creating things and the cause and effect of help versus not helping others. Vlad on one hand didn't want to see anyone, and yet he craved to pass down his knowledge somehow, but to whom?
Fate always played a role in the world, he liked to believe, and so the ache in his chest that he thought was dried up, had sprung to life when she came to the gates. Vlad had never really had relations with anyone after being turned, nothing good. Mostly female Vampires trying to get at his wisdom (among other things), and his rise to power was by himself, for himself.
He never thought he'd need someone, but being alone in his huge castle had brought with it a lot of depression, and loneliness with no one to talk to, no one to share presence with. But Lisa had found him, wanted to learn from him, pick his brain.
He had a thought as he kept the hand on her tiny shoulder gently. "What if I give you this room?" He said softly, not wanting to scare her, even though she seemed alright with him, a Human not persecuting a Vampire. "You'd not have to go back to your house, I worry about you." He admitted bluntly, color rushing to his pallor, fangs almost biting his tongue as he realized what he had said.
Getting back on his train of thought, he stepped closer as the night came upon them, "It could be your medicine room." His first thought after was to draw his cape over her, as he knew the black would soon bring cold winds. But he hesitated, his hand not on her balled into a fist.
