Hey! I came across your Batdemon!reader and so far Im loving it! I do have some questions tho.

Like sure they are a demon, but are they bound to the Wayne Estate? Do they have powers? Is their presence the reason behind the Wayne name prospering because one of Bruce's ancestors made a pact with them?

What do they think about the ever growing roster of the Batfamily? Does their presence help mend their relationships? Who's their favorite?

So most of my writings is just done on the fly but I do have a few ground rules.

So the Bat Demons been around for forever, or generally the last thousand or so years (before we isekai which takes place roughly 4 or so months before Bruce is officially born)

Demons in the DC universe typically have the ability to grant wishes or monkey paw a wish. I’m sure some Wayne ancestor made a wish while Gotham was being built to increase his/her wealth or influence, but I’ll also tie in that maybe the wish was linked to the ‘Wayne Curse.’ ;)

Bat!Reader can leave Gotham city as a whole, but cannot leave the greater area of Gotham without being heavily limited in ability’s. Example being, in Gotham Crypt can manipulate shadows, increase strength and resilience, and use magic (we’ll get into that in the story). The further Crypt gets from the home caves under Wayne manor generally the weaker ability’s get and maybe the weaker they get as a whole.

I think it’s a coin flip depending on the day. Obviously being around the smartest and dumbest people on the planet can get a bit draining. I’m sure with the inclusion of some individuals *cough cough* Cassandra and Barbara *cough cough* everything will be ok.

Mending relationships is a secondary goal for Crypt, just behind keeping everyone safe/maybe finding a way home. As the resident ‘Oldest person in the room’ for a lot of the Batfamily there’s a lot of emotional coddling or smacking going on to keep everything in order, or bring people together.

I’m aiming to write short stories (either spin off or expanding) on what I’m writing as things go on but it’s slow going. I will tell you there’s a Jason focused story happening that I’ll post when Jason/Red Hood situation happens.
