Inkheart by MeerkatWalk
This is one of the illustrations from the novel Inkheart by Cornelia Funke. I love how weirdly good the illustration is. The story is also pretty good for a young adult fantasy novel.

“Budong” by MeerkatWalk
Won this big guy in a bottle-and-ring game during a trip at Enchanted Kingdom. Luck at its finest, eh! He even got his own seat in the plane when heading back home.
Rainy days and Mondays...
Sketch the boredom away.

I was once asked to write a personal composition describing a burning candle...
I couldn’t think of how...
And so... this...

“SEEKER”
For every footstep I hear, a pounce through my chest
Solitary, not a single soul can claim me
I stare at you while you stumble upon faces, searching the infinite
And I am one to wonder how to beseech the wanderer
To find a single sand amongst pebbles
A quest for answers to questions asked in thin air
When will I be descried?
For not so long now, every anguish might turn into despair
The dreaded silence is a punch to bear
Left with your shadow, a cape to my endless dreams
A cynosure to my existence you chose to forget
Oblivious, you still seek the infinite
Blissful with the millions
Ignoring the lifetime.

“SENTIMYENTO”
Tila ba isang bangkang papel
Subalit …
Natuto ako ng pagkamuhi
Natanaw ko ang pagtatapos
Nadatnan ko ang parusa
Parusa na sana…
“Sana…”

The Tale of Howl: Moving to a New Castle
I was a month and two weeks old. I found myself keeping my body's warmth inside an old carton box. There was this stench of dampness as I crouched inside it. I could hear ear-piercing honks of vehicles and the terrible thump of feet from passersby. Voices sounded like loud shrieks and I understood nothing from it. There was this occasional feeling of being lifted and examined as I confusingly commanded myself not to open my eyes. I was afraid...
About 9 hours slowly passed by, I could no longer feel my legs. I could not find the energy to stand up. My nose felt weird. My tongue had gone dry. My ears could only lift as high as an inch from its sloppiness. My ever rumbling stomach had been craving for even just a hot soup. I was alone…
I wanted to scream. I thought I was done for. Then suddenly, I felt a very excited touch. It was different. I heard a voice, like my mother singing to me the sweetest lullaby. For the first time I felt safe. I opened my eyes…
Two months later, I'm now the king of my castle. I can run the staircase back and forth, though I'm sometimes scolded for the loud noise my paws against the stairs makes. I love nipping on the wooden cabinet and pulling out the pieces of clothes that my paws and teeth can reach. I love playing fetch with my white stuffed kitty with blue eyes, but never did I give it back without a fight. I also have a purr-y friend, Sumire, whom I love to bully. I love asking for biscuits and bread. And the most favorite thing I do - chasing heels, hugging my mother’s legs and nipping on her jeans. I am as happy as a child with a cone of ice cream on a sunny day…
My name is Howl. With my wagging tail and handsome smile, I am ready to kiss you a warm welcome to my castle. Arf!
