A week ago I had to say goodbye to a lot of people that I have grown very close with. I was so sad to see them leave, but knowing that saying goodbye hurts so much simply because I have made such great friends fills my heart with joy. I will always keep my residence hall, all the friends that I made here from all around the world, and all the memories close to my heart. Until next time! :) Always say hello, never goodbye <3

I just realized that I haven’t been on here in forever. My semester abroad at the University of South Carolina is now officially over. I had a great time, made a lot of great memories and awesome friends that I will keep in my heart forever. I remember the day I found out I got into the program and how happy I was that it even made me cry. Or the first day I arrived at USC. I felt so much at peace and in the moment. Something that I haven't felt in a long time. Everything was so new to me and exciting but I knew from the very first minute that there is no place in the world that I would rather be. All the hard work that I have put into my studies and grades to get this spot paid off and I’m so grateful that the University of Vienna decided to give me this opportunity to not only grow as a person but also as a student. Even though I don’t feel much different now I’m sure that I have grown and changed a lot as a person over the last four months. I’m so grateful of the life that was given to me, so happy that I have more places than just Vienna to call home and I’m happy to have such great friends back home and here in the states. May the next years be as great and I really hope that sooner rather than later I can call the states my home again once more

A little update - I haven’t really been on tumblr for quite some time so I figured I should post a bit. I arrived at the University of South Carolina a little bit over a month ago. I’m here as an exchange student (for one semester) and I love it so much! It only took me a couple of days to fall in love with this place! The people that I meet so far are awesome and I think I already build some great friendships - seeing people everyday definitely helps that.
