Una de las principales razones por las que Nico los quiere ver juntos es porque, según su lógica infantil, quiere la felicidad de Tre. Nico quiere mucho a su primo por qué, básicamente, Tre es el único que le hace caso y ademas que cuidaba de él desde que era muy pequeño y por eso Nico le tiene tanto cariño.
Los padres de Nico son como los de Timmy Turner solo que Nico tuvo suerte de que su primo cuidara de él y no una niñera malvada.
Todas sus ideas románticas salen de los libros y los cuentos que lee (uno de sus entretenimientos cuando está solo en casa y Tre no puede cuidarlo. Nico sabe ir solo a la biblioteca cuando quiere un nuevo libro).
Tre solo tiene a Nico para hablar sobre sus nuevos sentimientos por Stone ya que el niño no tiene problemas en mantenerlo en secreto y le daría igual si lo castigan al ocultar esto.
Creo que si Tre le dice algo a Maroon sobre su secreto amoroso y le pide mantenerlo en secreto, la metería en muchos problemas con su padre y podría despedirla. Por eso Tre no la puede involucrar en esto

I think if Tre tells Maroon anything about his love secret and asks her to keep it as a secret, it would get her in a lot of trouble with Tre’s father and he might fire her. That’s why Tre can’t involve her in this.
