How is a character written in 1819 originally sourced from a book written in 1897?
I watched this horror movie when the biggest plottwist was that instead of the love triangle with the main girl character, the two guys got together in the end
And i loved that more then some villlain reveal
The biggest plot twist in the entire series is that Juggalos are involved. And not entirely on the side of the clowns.

Ah yes, he says a deal with Iran is imminent. This is like the 35th time in the last couple months he's said that, ain't it? Yet we keep falling for it. I'm sure trump's rich pals made a nice penny on this. "Psst, hey guys... I think the market's really gonna go up tomorrow." *wink-wink*
U.S. equities gained on Thursday after President Donald Trump said the U.S. is going to soon sign a deal with Iran.
At this point, I wait to fill up my tank until his weekly announcement that he almost has a deal.
Raising kids who aren’t allowed to say no to you is raising adults who don’t think anyone should be allowed to oppose their rulers.

happy pride month, remember not to fall for the "not everything needs to be gay" propaganda. if you believe it's gay, it's gay
My mom has read all of The Vampire Chronicles.
She doesn't understand why the new show has them be explicitly gay because "it was just about their friendship"
Happy pride to those 5 seconds where Charlie Swan thought Jacob was coming out to him in the most insane way possible
I wish they would realize that universal healthcare doesn’t mean they HAVE to get healthcare through the state, just that it is there. You can still pay millions of dollars out of pocket for your own treatment at a private hospital.
America actually has terrible healthcare compared to a lot of nations with socialized medicine:
But you can see how powerful the ‘America is the greatest country on earth’ propaganda is in our schools.
We pay for Isreal to have better Healthcare than us.
Helps that a very prominent Transwoman was an Olympian, pre transition.
Academic articles from authors using large language model are creating an ecosystem of fake research that threatens human knowledge itself.
“There have been lots of AI-generated articles, and those typically get noticed and retracted quickly,” Heiss tells Rolling Stone. He mentions a paper retracted earlier this month, which discussed the potential to improve autism diagnoses with an AI model and included a nonsensical infographic that was itself created with a text-to-image model. “But this hallucinated journal issue is slightly different,” he says.
That’s because articles which include references to nonexistent research material — the papers that don’t get flagged and retracted for this use of AI, that is — are themselves being cited in other papers, which effectively launders their erroneous citations. This leads to students and academics (and any large language models they may ask for help) identifying those “sources” as reliable without ever confirming their veracity. The more these false citations are unquestioningly repeated from one article to the next, the more the illusion of their authenticity is reinforced. Fake citations have turned into a nightmare for research librarians, who by some estimates are wasting up to 15 percent of their work hours responding to requests for nonexistent records that ChatGPT or Google Gemini alluded to. (aph)
This is why the best practice in research if you're citing something in a paper that is itself cited, you go back to the original paper and cite that after you've checked to make sure that's what the paper says.
Apparently what I learned getting my bachelor's in history was "look up a real damn citation".
☝️and MA in Econ. I read so many papers about film revenue and gender discrimination. And the easiest way to fill out a bibliography is to go backwards with the papers.
