☀️ » “Songs about friendship is not really tasteful, it’s kind of boring! I might as well be listening to Kidz Bop!” Jyushiko’s music taste was quite fitting for her life style: songs about sex and partying, and the occasional really hardcore metal song.

“Girl, you have every reason to be jealous of my body! I’ve got it all going on and you poor, unfortunate soul, you have nothing! I’m sure your body will change when you get older, but you totally won’t get a body like this!” She did have just about everything the girl didn’t. Normally she wouldn’t brag like this and let her body do the talking, but her buttons are pushed.

“Interesting. Is it water resistant?” That was a critical selling point for her of course. The girl had not even started and already her knowledge at least sounded impressive.

“Ah yes, here.” Pulled from a second drawer, one where she kept lipstick and other accessories. “The polish washes out of it though right?” Just making sure. Next time Shyarly would need to have a few sponges just for the girl’s use. She turned away again, letting her chin sink into her hands before yawning. 

“I’m just the proprietor. I manage the bills, payments, schedules. You’d probably find that all boring but I have a knack for it.” It didn’t immediately occur to Shyarly to speak on the services she provided that were not typically found in a spa. “I also give fortune readings and counseling.”

☀️ » “Well, Jyushiko doesn’t live underwater, so how would she know? I never did an underwater manicure before-- Oh! Wait, I can totally try to do that water-marble thing everyone on Youtube shits themselves over! Hmm, maybe later when I get back to my ugly hut.” She’s just rambling off once again. At least her clients will never be bored.

With a deep hum, she took a second to think before shaking her head, “I don’t think so, because it’d dry up, but you can actually just take a scissor and cut off the end all covered in the dry yucky stuff! You can buy a bag of these things for super cheap anywho.” As she was speaking, she had opened up the foam blue and began to paint initial base coats on each finger. Soon another so that the color would show bright and vividly now. “Bleh, that sounds so boring and adult-ish. You need to live a little! -- Oh? See, that’s super cool! Fortune readings? Like the stuff you see in those fishy booths at carnivals that always steal your money and then just feels up your hands? That’s so cool!”

“Well then, if nothing will dissuade you I won’t push any further.” At least she was earnest in her displaying her open nature. Shyarly felt that she could be like that sometimes herself. However, that was only sometimes, which was where their actions diverged. 

“No, that will be all. Remember what I said. The challenge isn’t in the technique for you, it’s in following the customer’s wishes above your own. If you can accomplish that, you’ll have the job.” Shyarly made the final motion to look away from the hand she had offered the girl to let the result of their work be a surprise. Anything extra on her nails at the end though and it would be an automatic failure. 

“Well, I’ve never a gradient myself before. Like I said, it’s really more of a hassle.” She glanced back over momentarily to push forward a tape dispenser which sat on her desk. “Well, if tape will do, there’s some to spare.”

☀️ » Skillfully, fingers began prying at the tape, ripping off pieces and laying them across her nail bed and then along the sides of her fingernail, quite quickly getting through prepping each finger. “You should totally look into buying some the next time you’re getting supply for this place! It’s basically just liquid latex and you peel it off when you’re done, and it smells nice too!” 

As much as it may actually kill her to do such a boring design and leave it unscathed by her gyaru tastes, she’ll do what she must. She really needs this job, and if she needs to behave just this once, she will. “Ah! I’m gonna need a makeup sponge, if you have one! A super easy way to get your gradients on.” There’s probably more professional ways to go about these tings, but all that Jyushiko knows about nails is basically from online. They’re easy cheats to get around doing any super hard work, but basically look just the same as professional nails. “Oh! Also... if you own this spa, is there anything you do here? Like nails or... massages or other things... spas have...?”

They were all the same, especially when it came to material which could be thrown away at a moment’s notice. She hung on to a few words to make it seem like she was paying attention.  That’s how you do it.     Keep them working, wanting more. ]]

[[ Her digit, soft but somewhat piercing from her long nails, carefully stroked Jyushiko’s tanned face, resting at her chin and bringing her closer some. She planted a soft kiss on her cheek before reverting the space between them to an appropriate distance. ]]

     “ Follow me, we’ll get a nice snack. My treat. “

☀️ » Praise was hard to come by when you’re someone as blunt and boisterous as Jyushiko is, so whenever she can receive it, she’ll eat it up immediately and hang onto that person in hopes to get more. She’s an extremely gullible person, naive in some ways as well, and definitely too quick to trust. Right now, she’s already hung up on every single word that this new person is saying to her, believing every word. Not to mention, physical affection is an extreme bonus, and is guaranteed to seal the deal. 

All she could do was stare, wide eyed and long false eyelashes fluttering. Was she really just kissed on the cheek? This is a god send, this is all she wanted out of this city: cute girls. She could barely keep up with this. 

Next thing she knew, she was being dragged off by the hand, and she still had no complaints. “Ah? A snack? N-Nice! What kind of snack? I don’t have a clue what’s around here because I didn’t really want to look around, but there’s probably good stuff, right?”

“How admirable. Just because you’ve decided not to change who you are doesn’t mean there won’t still be consequences for being offensive.” At least there was a hint that she was loyal to the the people she trusted. Of course Shyarly wouldn’t have that yet. She crossed her legs as she sat, trying to think of if it would really be wise to hire them.

“Hmmmm, I usually stick with flat colors. Obviously I run though polish quicker then you, so it’s been more of a chore than anything.” She held her hand up to her face, looking at the nails which were just as large as she was in comparison to a normal human. Her examination turned into a yawn and Shyarly covered her mouth. 

“I’d like to see you try a gradient pattern though. From foam blue to violet at the tip. You should be able to manage that.” She held her right hand out to the other, resting it on the desk. “Remember, just what the customer asks for, nothing extra.”

☀️ » “I’m okay with that.” Her normal loud voice was lowered for once, a genuine smile on her face. She doesn’t ever want to change who she is, because who she is is so unique. People getting mad about it was just part of the package. She likes getting that reaction out of people.

She’d have to bring her attention back to her super important mega inspection here to make sure she doesn’t mess this up. A job was necessary for her to buy more shit she really didn’t need, and also to decorate the hell out of that ugly hut of hers. -- Oh, yeah, her fingernails are probably monster size too. How neat. She could do so many cool designs on them. Sadly, she wasn’t allowed to.

“Gradient? Super easy! Are you sure you don’t want like... glittery nail polish, or something more eye-catching? Flat colors are mega boring. Ah--” Ugh, working is so strict. She wants to make people look their best! That means getting out of their comfort zone! “Okay, well, let’s do this! Do you have any Simply Peel? That stuff is a total godsend when you do gradients. If not, tape can totally work!”

☀️ » She kind of felt bad. It wasn’t really her birthday. Well, at least she hasn’t been celebrating it this day, but who knows, the producers don’t give her nearly enough information to work with. But! A gift is a gift! She happily accepted, grin as wide as always as she launched herself forward and wrapped her arms tightly around the other. “Thaaaank yoooou! Thank you, thank you, thank you! You’re such a sweetie!” And being who she is, she planted a big smooch on his cheek, leaving behind a nice red lipstick stain.

  This was not the shopping trip that Honoka had planned going on. Not that she really planned on doing any shopping to begin with, but there she was regardless, dragged between racks of gaudy clothing–nothing that she would ever wear in fifty lifetimes–arms linked with fake-tanned skin and mile-high bleached blonde hair–no one she would ever spend time with so casually in fifty centuries.

  And despite how much she persisted and pulled away, the strangers grip only grew stronger while Honoka was presented with glittery spandex dresses and tube tops on an endless loop.

  “Would you let go? I don’t know you, leave me the hell alone!– And I’m not wearing that!!”

   Her pleas continued to fall on deaf ears.

☀️ » In this big city, it seemed so hard to make new friends. Everyone had a piss poor attitude or was rude to her, so she had to take a new approach to things: forcing people to go places with her! She doesn’t have a singular girl friend in this place, and this chick was mega pretty, and Jyushiko could appreciate that. So, here’s her new shopping buddy!

Jyushiko was a big girl, she was able to keep her grip tight on the stranger to prevent her from squirming away the entire time. “Aaaaw, why not? You have such a hot body! You totally should show some more skin some time! Oooo, you should let me do your makeup too!” Basically everything the other was saying was not even processing.

Thankfully, bright shiny things catch her attention, her head perking up when she saw a neon sign of a guitar. “Oo oo! I think I found one!”
