Wonder egg priority might truly be one of the most devilish anime ever created in the way I have not gone a month without thinking about it ever since it ended. Even though I know it’s not very good in the grand scheme of things I can’t help, but miss it…

it's been pointed out before i'm sure, but it feels genuinely impossible to engage with most... unspecified fandoms (cough gachas) because they can all exclusively view works through a watsonian lens; which is a good trait to have of course, but sometimes you *need* to step back and look at it in the context of the real world i'm so serious

Nothing is more tiresome than when in a work of fiction every main character is forced to only have a romance within the main group or characters, makes all the relationships feel a bit shallower when they’ve all been predestined to pair up, I like when they’re bold enough to just be like—yeah this character just ended up getting together with some random person that wasn’t exactly relevant to the main plot

Still ruminating on this; I don’t have anything succinct or clean to say really it’s just very exhausting to see no matter how a woman in fiction acts they’ll always end up described with weirdly backhanded terms like this—maybe I’m too sensitive, but once you see it repeated ad nauseam it gets a bit tiresome.

If a woman is complicated or god forbid emotional she’s a ‘loser’ even if a woman only shows “strong” or confident traits fandom will just pretend that she’s ’secretly a huge dork in in private’ it feels all so disingenuous at the end of the day.
