These AT devices focus on finding solutions and accommodations for individuals with disabilities. This institute makes it their mission to allow their clients reach their full potential and participate in all activities meaningful to them with the help of their assistive technology. They provide assistance in the home, community, or even at school. This institutes offers different devices such as magnifiers, specialized keyboards, reachers and ergonomic office chairs. Many devices are individually customized to meet their client’s special needs. They have their own “fabrication lab” in which they create all of their assistive technology. This institute is useful for occupational therapists as an added resource to contact and advocate for in order to help many realize that there options out there that meet their individual needs!
