Keep Beibhinn Housed!

This is Beibhinn.

Beibhinn has survived extreme childhood abuse and poverty as a trans woman. She is experiencing her first psychotic episode and has been completely unable to work since June 12. In addition to this, she has an infection in her jaw and needs extensive ongoing dental work. Beibhinn is currently in treatment and receiving the professional care she needs to move forward, as long as her basic needs are met and bills are paid.

This fundraiser is being organized by Beibhinn’s close friend Thresh. Thresh has been scheduling, coordinating, and advocating for B through all her doctor, dentist, and mental health appointments. All money raised through this fundraiser will go into a checking account with a local credit union specifically for this purpose. Since Beibhinn is currently in a mental health crisis and having difficulty with tasks such as money/bills, time awareness, and management, Thresh will be paying her expenses directly from this account.

Beibhinn lives with three other trans women who are not able to absorb the cost of her income loss. Her rent and utilities are $575 per month, and her dental estimates are currently running around $3000 - $4000 for urgently needed extractions and implants. Money raised in this campaign will always first go to securing her housing, second to pay for dental care.

I can personally attest to both the validity of this fundraiser and the urgency associated with it. Beibhinn is being cared for by other vulnerable members of our community and it’s vitally important that those who can contribute do.

They are still waiting for a cancellation at her clinic so she can have her tooth extracted as soon as possible– otherwise she will have to wait a month for the next available appointment. Please help my father pay for cancer treatment.

Hey y’ all

I hate to ask, but recently my father was diagnosed with cancer. We are so thankful it’s treatable, but even with decent health insurance, the bills are adding up fast.

Furthermore, my father is the primary caretaker for my younger brother, who has significant disabilities and health issues of his own. As a result. any help that can be given won’t just cover the cost of cancer care, it will ensure that my brother’s health and safety needs will be covered as well.

For personal safety reasons, I do not have a large social media presence. Even if you are not in a position to donate, please share this post so that it reaches as many people as possible. I am so thankful for all of the attention this post has been given. Unfortunately, however, I need to keep asking for your help. Insurance has covered less of my father’s care than we originally thought, and we were just handed a $2,800.00 bill due in three weeks. There is no way we can afford to pay this charge without assistance, especially because at this stage treatments have made my father too ill to continue working.

I’m currently in a violent living environment with an unhealthy dynamic and my partners parents completely emptied us of every dollar we have under the guise of “borrowing” it. Our accounts are at 0 or negative, and our wallets are completely empty. I recently had to give up everything i had saved or hidden for my meds and a dental appointment.

I’m a lgbtq, physically and mentally ill, pregnant, abuse and csa survivor who ran away from my personal bad situation to live with my person and their family 2 years ago, and i basically unknowingly landed myself in the same environment I ran away from but with different people. Moving out is not an option right now. I cant work and my partner does weird little jobs for money like painting houses and selling shit from junkyards, we do not know when the next time were getting money is or how much it’ll be.

The adults in the household who are supposed to be responsible and take care of us have an abusive and violent relationship together, oftentimes not paying bills or going to the market because they’re fist fighting. Me, my partner, and their 11yro little sister usually have to leave the house for hours at a time and cant come home until theyre done breaking furniture and punching the walls in. i usually end up having to feed the three of us with loose cash lying around. I am completely dry and afraid of being broke in this unpredictable almost every day occurence.

I’m literally asking for anything that can be spared ..I need money for emergency situations, bills, food, gas, and savings. I have nothing at this point and I know they have 0 intention of giving any of it back.

Please help me any way you can; I am scared of being broke in this horrific household. Tumblr has helped me before with my dental care so I know there are good hearts out there.
