Hey Gundam Wingers!

It’s time for the GW Valentine’s Day Event!

It’s super simple, all you need to do is tell me somehow (send an ask to myself @helmistress​​ or the blog @thisweekingundamevents​​, pm myself or the blog, comment on this post (either here on tumblr, or on pillowfort or twitter), or message me on discord! It’s not an exchange, there are simply V-day prompts for you to work your magic with!

Every time I tried to do replies… I get one or two of them done… maybe three if I’m lucky… and then my brain fries… I’m so sorry everyone!

So, the hard drive my games are one is dying… and since the other would probably start its death throws in another couple of months… My husband has gotten me new ones, and new cords and such to plug it all in with the rest of my existing components.

However, that means I’ve spent like, all damn day, and probably tomorrow backing up my damn crap! lol

Honestly, if it’s not one thing it’s another. Life can eat its damn lemons, I don’t like lemonade!

Bangs

Big Bang:

Big Bang is a challenge that pairs an author with an artist. The author writes a story anywhere from 15,000-50,000 words minimum, over a period of several months. Artists then choose a story based only on a small snippet or summary, and create a piece of art (or two, or three) to accompany it. The art can range anywhere from simple to full-on Giovanni.

Mini Bang:

Same concept as a Big Bang, simply a smaller word count, generally between 5,000 and 10,000 words minimum. The run time for the Bang can still be several   months, and artists can choose whether or not to make intricate or simple pieces.

Reverse Bang:

Also the same concept, of pairing a writer and artist. However, with this one the art comes first, and the writer will pick which concept/piece to do a story for.

Other Things of Note:

Bangs can run with specific pairings (Heero/Relena), or rare pairs (Cathy/Zechs), or just in general fun (The G-Boys on Vacation). They can be themed or not to those specifications. Or have themes such as Valentine’s or Christmas/Hanukkah, or perhaps ‘First Meeting’.

For any Bang this blog runs, there will be a poll listed asking for participants, length of time to run it, and potential themes/prompts.
