WIP Intro!
Sapria (working title)
Sapria is a high fantasy story about a world that is seeing an end of time legend play out. The Time of the Heavenly Trials is upon the inhabinents of their realm. A scorned goddess makes her decent onto their world after a holy pact between the Humans and the Divines has been broken. Her goal is to burn their world to the ground, that she can only do once runited with her half god-half demon daughter. Though not is all going as planned. The host her daughter was supposed to take over seems to have too strong a will, even after years of heartbreak and loss.
Nelia and Ilanius run into eachother and their lives change in that very moment. Bounded by Blood, Doomed by Fate. They know very little of what that means, besides that they are tied together in some twisted trickery of the Divines. That and they must go west. They have very little trust in each other but can't escape the pull they have. Both haunted by nightmares they can't comprehend they venture out together in search of what greater purpose they believe they must serve.

Voilence, Gore, War, Racism (humans against the taener - an elvenesqe race), death, demons, reglion (fictional but somewhat inspired by irl relgions), hinted sexual assult (no graphic details but more of a read between the lines)

Main Characters:
Nelia of Zenier:
Nelia's life has been plagued with loss. She lost her homeland before she was even born, she lost her mother at the age of 11, her adoptive family by the age of 17, and lovers and friends never stayed long. She has come to expect no one would be willing to stay with her, she's come to feel comfort in her lonesome. That is until she happens across Ilanius. He voices his distain and annoyance for her, but yet never leaves her side.
Ilanius of House Docken:
Ilanius belongs to the theives guild, where he secures an income to take home to his mother and five half-sisters to help their rundown farm. Ilanius made a vow to his dying adoptive father to help care for his sisters until they come of age. With that vow he's never saught after anything he truly wanted for himself, instead focusing his actions on how it can better his sisters lifes. His mother frowns at this, though knows this is her son's true nature and he doesn't take his promises lightly.
Yenfiera of Zenier:
The annointed high preistess of Zenier and all of the Taener at the time of the fall of Zenier. The day the main temple fell was the last she'd been seen of, besides one off leads that usually ran dry. Word is she was taken prisoner by King Daenil of Ivesberg, but thought to have been executed long ago. With the doom of Cavilis, the capital of Ivesberg, no one dare to enter the city gates to see the truth of it. It is rumored that demons run wild, corpses walk the streets, and shadows have taken their own free will.
