creating Cartoons, ideas, entertainment, and assorted novelties.
The animation industry is an absolute trash fire right now, and TBH... I don't think it's going to recover. Not in a form I recognize, anyway.
I could go on all day about the self-hating monster that is the Animation Business, but I've said it all before. Right now, none of the major studios are making much of anything, and almost all of what they are making is "library content". I'm currently doing storyboard revisions alongside a number of other former producers and directors, and I'm lucky to have the work. Once all of the mismanagement and the mergers get sorted, though, there should be plenty of room for more mismanagement and mergers. And the A.I. Don't forget the A.I.
It seems that I either give myself over fully to the souring corporate teat in the hopes that I can pretend that I still live in a world where "the grind" matters. Or I take a risk and make one big push to do... something.
First up:
Billy & Mandy vs. The Entertainment Industry:
This is my interview/reality/documentary show on the making of The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy from stem to stern. I'll be talking to as many people as I can who worked on the show about all sorts of different parts of the process. We'll definitely get to voice actors, but the first segment is probably going to be about Billy & Mandy's pre-history and the Big Pick Weekend.
The Upward Expedition:
This is my pick for my indie show. I have a bible. I have a decade of ideas. Time to sit down and tell a story. I want to get some screen sharing going at some point. I'll definitely share artwork as well as the trials and tribulations of getting from There to Back Again.
I'd love to get a Discord server going and provide a place where people can talk about the stuff I'm making (and the entertainment industry in general). I still have enough Billy & Mandy swag left that I'm sure I'll factor that stuff in as well.
In the immediate future, the funding goes to securing a space to do the interviews and probably to banking money for voice actors. I'm still deciding on my update schedule, but it should start in earnest next week.
I'm excited. Pretty scared... but also excited.
More updates to come. Definitely let me know if there's anything specific you'd like to see on the Patreon!
As always, thanks for sticking around!

Good Morning Tumblroids,
I’m still working out the specifics of my future indie project attempt. Jellystone is over for now, but I’m still pitching shows on the mean streets of Burbank and I’ve got a lot of new software to cram before I’m ready. In the meantime, I think I’m overdue to break the seal and breathe some life back into my mummified YouTube channel.
Maybe I’m just looking for a cheap excuse for a party, but I think I’m going to start off with a “Billy & Mandy Reunion”. As I’m imagining it, it’s part documentary and part Bravo reunion special. But probably with less punching and swearing(?).
From the unusual pitch to the moment it was voted into existence by the fans, through multiple cancellations and resurrections, all the way to its final meeting with the reaper, Billy & Mandy has had a journey unique in the animation world. My goal is to get the whole gang back together and talk about how the sausage is and was made.
Before I embark with you on this trip through the potholes down Memory Lane, though, I wanted to check in with you all and hear what you had to say. In the reunion, we’ll be talking about Billy & Mandy as a project, specific episodes, all of the parts of the animation process, how things were done in the 2000s vs how they’re done now, and the animation industry in general. I’m looking for your thoughts and questions about any of that stuff. Or (really) anything you want to know about the show.
Whether it’s a statement about a character that's had an impact on your life or a question about the minutiae of storyboarding, I’d love to hear from you. If you want your question to be credited, add your preferred name to your comment. I don’t think I’ll have time to get to them all (and there are bound to be plenty of repeat questions) so please don’t get mad at me if yours doesn’t get chosen or gets attributed to someone else. There’s only a five-to-seven percent chance that I’ve done it maliciously.
I’m going to talk to the actors, of course, but I’m going to try to get as many people back as I can. Storyboard artists, writers, production staff, directors, timers, designers– The Whole Tamale Platter. If you’re interested in a particular facet of TV Animation, this would be a good chance to hear from someone who’s been there.

Love this so much! I can't wait to see the band back together if this gets done!🫡💜
[[Its Carlito!!!🍎]]
Across WWE socials Carlito’s return in has pulled in over 8,200,000 views.
What with the Animation industry in disarray and the WGA on strike, it's looking like a dim year ahead for entertainment.
So I'm gonna do a thing.
It's going to be a "cheap and easy" thing (at least by my standards) geared toward putting out more content with less quality. Call it "The Hanna-Barbera Effect".
I'm down to a couple of projects I'm choosing from, with one being a kid's show and one being an adult show. The kids' show would fall into the Billy & Mandy "for more than just kids" range, ideally. The adult show would be a very dark comedy. My current plan would be to put whichever I choose on YouTube.
I know it's incredibly vague so far, but is there one you'd rather see over the other? Part of the decision will come down to which (kids or adult) seems like less of a nightmare and is less likely to get me demonetized. But I definitely want to keep you all involved!
You got the
Bayley + eras part 1.
ok? but who is winning in a FIGHT this isn’t about personality. Who is gonna WIN in fisty cuffs ?
Angelica can’t fucking fight. The only girl she’s ever scalped was Cynthia, and that’s cause she’s inanimate.
Angelica just acts hard cause she’s around literal babies all the time who can’t challenge her, that’s why she got her life snatched when Susie came around. DW on the other hand is about that life, she’s the youngest and smallest and still nobody fucks with her.
