The goal was to make him look really huge! I even rewatched The Iron Giant for inspiration for this. still such a good movie omg!

You can see in the geometry sketch phase: Ingo's brim was supposed to be much higher as it would be if i stuck to perspective BUT very rightfully client insisted on having the brim cover his eyes partially which was the best change in this whole piece i think
