I’ve been investigating the possibility of Luke being involved with Girl for several weeks.

I actually saw this post about 11 minutes after CDC Casting published it yesterday, but I didn’t want to be the first person to share it with the fandom. Now that it’s making the rounds on X, I feel more comfortable discussing it.

A few days earlier, CDC Casting posted a doubles request for Maddie Ziegler and Storm Reid using actual photos of both actresses with only their eyes covered.

Yesterday’s post was different. The images were of three of the four people were altered, including what appears to be Luke. To me, that was the smoking gun. It strongly suggested they had started with an actual photo of Luke and modified it.

Of course, this still isn’t official confirmation, but it’s the strongest piece of evidence I’ve seen so far.

I’d like to note for any others out there, this is speculation on my part. It is not official news. This is me following the clues that are out there in the public view. I didn’t not access nor do I have access to anything that is not available for anyone to find if they choose to look.

If Luke is cast in this movie, I am really excited for him. I hope he enjoys the lowcountry of Georgia while he is in town. I was married on Tybee Island and we had our reception in Savannah. So the area holds a special place in my heart. I am excited that Luke might get to experience it.

Clearly the girl hasn’t seen enough of shirtless Luke pictures. I must start sharing.

She’s now sending me clips I’ve seen a thousand times like she’s discovered buried treasure. Bless her.

My sister just started Bridgerton and she’s officially obsessed — but she hasn’t fallen down the Lukola rabbit hole yet.

I, on the other hand, am a long-standing Lukola believer. So naturally, I sent her this photo with, “Who do these people look like to you?” 👀

All this talk about Colin and Penelope not getting the “almost” hand touch 🙄…that ship sailed way before their season! Colin was never afraid to touch Pen. Propriety be damned! That’s our chaotic Colin, and we love him for being unhinged!

If your boys are 32 doing that in public I beg you to talk to them immediately. It’s not the end of the world but it’s common decency and hygiene.

Just because I do not believe that it is the end of the world doesn’t mean that I am not giving my boys good home training. In fact I had the principal tell me that my oldest son is very well mannered.

Having said that I have a very close 80 something relative that regularly picks his nose while driving. He also tightens loose toilet seats in public bathrooms. Both things I find gross. Especially the bathroom thing. 🤮 I still love him and would never think less of him. In fact he was highly successful in his career and a wonderful family man. Criticizing someone for a natural human behavior isn’t something I am interested in doing.

As a mother of boys I have seen worse.

All of us are human. Well most of us are. Some you are questionable.

Let’s talk reality here. We’ve all been annoyed by some dried mucus a time or a thousand. It happens. Sometimes desperate times call for desperate measures.

We should all agree that it should not, under no circumstances, ever be recorded and then used to drive engagement.

It doesn’t matter where you fall in the fandom.

Things that I loved about today’s Bridgerton event:

1 - Blonde Pen with the Queen.

2 - the redecoration of the Featherington House.

3 - S4 staying the most faithful to the book series except that show Benedict is more delicate and thoughtful than book Benedict.

5 - Hyacinth and Gregory stepping into the fray more.

6 - upstairs/downstairs dynamics.

7 - Lady Featherington. Not moving out of the house anytime soon.

8 - Lord Featherington

9 - Sophie

10 - we get a kite scene?!?!

11 - new family of villains

12 - Eloise being pushed into the marriage mart by Violet. (Maybe gearing up for S5?)

I’ve climbed back over the railing. Currently in the suite sleeping off this sickening case of sea sickness. Still Lukola endgame.

Category five hurricane Antonia has churned up the seas and spun the Lukola ship. The waves have knocked a lot of the most sat passengers completely off the ship. They are now drowning in the sea of disappointment. I have been knocked over the railing. I am holding on but my hands are very, very tired.

Now that this storm has finally hit land we will see how strong it is. Will it peter out and dwindle into a small depression? Or will it continue like a buzz saw and wipe out everything in its path?
