Born under a full moon after his mother had brought his egg out from the hatchery to discard in fear of not being able to feed him, Shadowseeker's egg turned silver. This startled his mother, who didn't understand what it meant, and she took it as a sign that he would be of some use to her and kept him as he hatched.
They named him Shadowseeker to seek the shadows and lie low in the tribe, as his parents dreamed of escaping the volcano they called home. As he grew up, Shadowseeker had more and more visions about the volcano erupting, and insisted that Morrowseer was creating a big mess instead of fixing it. However, due to this, Morrowseer took him as a threat and tried to neutralize Shadowseeker by killing his mother. Shadowseeker cursed that Morrowseer should die from the volcano when the dragonets save the world, since Morrowseer was so insistent that the prophecy should be real. At this time, he didn't realize that he had secretly cursed Morrowseer with a fate that couldn't be changed, as it was to be enacted through animus magic.
Shadowseeker fled and eventually stumbled upon Possibility, within the Sand Kingdom. Later, he became a hired mercenary, fighting whoever paid the most.
When Shadowseeker eventually turned 8, the dragonets appeared in the Sky Kingdom. He already knew the contents of the prophecy were fake, but was glad that it was sending the war in the right direction, Thorn, whom he had briefly served under, and had a vision about...
He decided to stop fighting in the war as it was going to end soon, and decided to devote himself to finding his father. As Shadowseeker traveled about, he found joy in collecting stones and jewels, which led him to Jade Mountain, hoping to find some stones to embellish his scales.
Stumbling across Stonemover, he had been a bit shocked that a dragon could allow himself such a fate. However, Stonemover recognized him as another animus (more shocking!) and taught Shadowseeker about his powers. Eventually, Shadowseeker bid Stonemover farewell and carried on with his journey to find his father.
Learning that he could enchant something to help him find his father, he enchanted an arrow to fly in that direction and to fall to the ground when they met. He was sorely disappointed when he found out that a scraggly, meek NightWing was his father, who had ended up living a life of solitude in the very corner of Pyrrhia.
Shadowseeker couldn't believe his lineage was from a NightWing like that, so he traced it using animus magic, and discovered that a long time ago, his father was related to Thoughtful and White-Out.
Somewhat satisfied with that answer, Shadowseeker moved on to explore the rest of Pyrrhia. He flew to all corners, though not welcome in many, before finding comfort in the Kingdom of the Sea. He was enamoured by the world under water, and proposed a deal to Queen Coral, where he would teach Anenome to use her powers safely as an incentive to see life underwater.
Queen Coral accepted and he eventually gave himself the ability to breathe and communciate under water through writing, and immersed himself in learning Aquatic as well as finding rare jewels in the sea.
In his later life, his scales were adorned with pearls and moonstones, gathered across all of Pyrrhia. Shadowseeker also inlaid some near his eyes, to imitate the silver tear-shaped scales near the eyes of NightWings with mind reading abilities, after seeing Moonwatcher in one of his visions and deciding the path to take after seeing and learning all that he could within the deep sea.
Thats the lore mostly :D i tried to spin it up with the options given from the challenge heh
