Seriously, though, the French LOVED Edgar Allan Poe, thanks in particular to Jules Verne.

He even wrote a sequel to Poe’s only novel, and numerous essays about how great an author Poe was.

By all accounts, Poe (who lived a penniless life in the US) really *was* baffled by all of this.

プレミアムバンダイから届いた小包を開けるとワイアール星人が入っていた。チルソナイトでなくてよかったね。「ウルトラ怪獣5000（実際には6000…）」シリーズのひとつ。ほぼ可動無しなのがおもちゃとしては寂しいが造形は満足。まぁこの複雑怪奇な宇宙人を金型から抜いて量産しても低価格じゃ割が合わないよなぁ。

劇中さながらと言えるが春菊の天ぷらのようでもある。

ワイアール星人といえば小田急ロマンスカーの車内で石黒隊員に擬態した星人が正体を現し細君が驚くシーンが好き。子ども時代は怖かったけど。

密室の車内で化け物が出たら逃げ場なくて怖いよ。考えてみたら、「新感染」が異常に好きなのも、このシーンの影響かもしれない。初期のウルトラってヒーローものになってしまった今のウルトラと違ってSFホラー番組なんだよなぁ。

最後はお約束の巨大化でセブンにあっさり真っ二つにされてしまうが、巨大化よりも等身大で増殖した方が怖いぞ～

In one timeline, following his trial for the murder of Professor Zoom, the Flash travels to the 30th century and reforms the members of the Fatal Five into a groundbreaking Interlac hip hop combo. The Flash's faster-than-light DJing earned him the title of Grandmaster. Validus' beat-boxing was truly electrifying. Sadly, this splinter reality (Earth 808) is one of the first to be erased in the Crisis. Pariah is the only living being who remembers hearing Grandmaster Flash and the Fatal Five perform. He was attending their last concert when the final, white curtain came down.
