i ran into you, and my heart was happy to see you again. i missed your touch and how my head fits perfectly under your chin. i missed smelling you. i missed seeing your face light up whenever you see me. it’s one of the best feelings in the world. i cried thinking about us not being together anymore and wonder if it’s the end of it all.

A year
It's been a year since LA went on lockdown. A year since I was last at your house. A year since I was with you. A year since I last held your hand. I miss you immensely. I miss you so much that it hurts my entire body whenever I think about you. I don't know if it will ever stop.
Gardens forever remind me of you. I wish I could put our tulips together.
I'm in my bed And you're not here And there's no one to blame
I get the feeling that you’ll never need me again
I look for you everywhere I go.
I don't know how to let you go. I can't.
Our Day
I am unsure whether I have made the right choice. My mind has been clouded with thoughts of you. These past few days have been extremely anxiety inducing and I have not felt at rest even though most days of the week are my days off. I wish there was a clear-cut answer.
My heart begins to feel heavier as this day approaches. I remember you, I remember us and how we were. I remember how much we love each other, and I don't know how it's possible, but my heart breaks even more.
I have always been one to deal with my problems head on. I want to feel all my emotions intensely so I can figure it out and move on, but I understand now what it's like to want to run away. Because that's all I've been doing lately. I've run out of things to do, but I just want to be doing something... anything, really. The silence around me scares me because the thought of you no longer being by my side causes me to cry uncontrollably. I miss your love. I miss hearing your laugh and being with you. I miss being in bed with you all day. I miss sitting in your passenger seat with your fingers intertwined with mine. I miss the comfort of your smell when I bury my head in your chest. I miss feeling safety in your arms. I miss all of you.
I'm so lost.

Some days, I feel like I’m going to be okay. Other days, I feel numb and hopeless. Most days, I still can’t understand this mess. On days I do feel adequate, a minor thing sets me off and I find myself spending the next week debilitated by the loss of you and your love.
I think about you a lot. Where you are and what you’re doing. I wonder what’s going through your mind. I worry about you and worry that you’re not taking care of yourself. I think about what we’d be doing right now if you were by my side, but then I ponder the thought of us never seeing each other again, and send myself down this never ending emotional spiral of despair.
I’m still trying to figure out how to get back out.
