is there a common originator/inspiration for this type of cool super-cluttered environment? like here or in blame! or a wide variety of post-apocalyptic manga. i assume there's some connection with kowloon, its clearly a big inspiration for anything remotely cyberpunk which is kinda adjacent... but this is an extra degree of chaotic / nonsense / abstract visuals.
