When you read a book what format is it in? Have you ever read a graphic novel? If not, why not? If yes, have you read other formats or do you prefer graphic novels? Why do you like graphic novels? So many questions, I know.
I was to choose from any of these four books: Night by Elie Wiesel, The Storyteller by Jodie Picoult, The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank, or Maus by Art Spiegelman.
Well, I have already read The Diary of a Young Girl. I was told The Storyteller is long and I don’t read fast. So it was between Night and Maus. I asked my husband what he thought, I assumed he’d choose the cheaper one. He then asked, “Have you ever read a graphic novel?” so I replied, “Ummm No I haven’t, so is that what I should choose?” Well off to the bookstore and didn’t take us long to find the graphic novels and then he realized it was our nephew’s birthday and we hadn’t gotten him a gift. Cool! I get to share something in common with a thirteen year old. He will read about the Punisher and the Avengers while I read about a son’s view of his father’s survival during the holocaust. Well wish me luck, I’ll get back to you and let you know if I’m enjoying it.

Color Away!
WAIT WHAT?!
Pattern Away!
First time using Photoshop and I enjoyed the little I learned. Art41C, we were given a layout and we had to color it, like a coloring book! except electronically. the professor had suggested to use one layer above the drawing and only to be used to furniture and the furniture should be all one color. NOW WAIT A MINUTE! Why shouldn’t I use different colors?! I began using bright colors. She explained we had to watch Youtube video so we could learn how to use Photoshop for this certain project. This video is very useful and one can easily follow especially with the pause and playback options ;-) Now the fun really begins. Lets Built that Wall!

Busy day a day full of learning, so I must eat up. I wouldn’t want to starve my mind.
First lesson of the day, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, BJJ has a way of teaching one of being humble and have good sportsmanship. Many have claimed that BJJ has saved their life from mental to physical obstacles. For me it has served a way to stay physically active and brought my husband and I closer as partners. Second lesson of the day, Psychology, Psyc002. In order to understand the mind one must know how it brain works. We start by the structure of a brain, the structure of a cell. Lots of medical terminology is a must know. FLASHCARDS! Third lesson of the day, Interior Design, Art41C bittersweet class of mine. I was saddened when Interior Design part B was over, because I wouldn’t have the same teacher. Heather wouldn’t be teaching Art41B any longer, because she is unfamiliar with the new software available for professional interior designers. Excitement is what I felt when the class was informed that for Art41C we would move on from traditional format to the new world of technology. I felt like I would be better prepared for the workforce if I took the class. Unfortunately, Im not excited in this class, as a matter of fact I was considering dropping the class. However, I should NOT, WILL NOT give up on achieving my goals. Her method of teaching doesn’t speak to me but maybe it does for someone else. Either way, I have to learn her method of teaching so I can be given My Certificate.
Eleven O’Clock, states the kitchen stove, I’m home, my mind has become a race track. Each lane going in different directions yet no cars are in danger but they don’t know where they are going, “to be filed”, I shout. Yes, file my thoughts and as soon as thats completed its time to recharge so I can be ready.
The owners of this home in Vietnam originally wanted a large garden. As soon it was not possible,the Vo Trong Nghia Architects and ICADA architects brought it onto the roof for them.
