1. Episode 5 is definitely my favorite. It felt like a short film outside of the series. Like a short, philosophical, small town thriller/horror movie that's subtly eerie in the beginning, then descends slowly into madness. It was amazing. I was uneasy the entire episode, waiting for any shit to drop.
2. Episode 6 was the total opposite. It's the '🥺' emoji in every way. Good thing I didn't binge watch the series or else I would've had emotional whiplash.
3. The 1st episode, I thought, was a little fast paced of an exposition. Though, by the end of the episode I understood why. But, personally, I prefer it longer. I think an episode more could've been added to make it not seem rushed. But it could be a Netflix production financial thing, so that's understandable.
4. It's funny that it's so obvious that many American characters are played by British actors. Their accents slips. Cute 😅
5. The diversity was nice but many, if not all, queer characters are either evil or dead. Or both. Maybe I'm just looking too much into it, but I just thought it's kind of unfair.
6. Gault was redeemed and I'm happy 🥺. Not Gregory though (my baby 😭), but at least we got (G)Irving/Goldie 🥺
7. That game in hell was so fucking epic. I was impressed. I can see it going chaotically comedic if me and my friends/family were to try it 🤣
8. I'm not a fan or Vanesu Samunyai's (Rose) acting 😞. It's just two notes throughout: kind and caring. Even when she's worried or 'panicking' she sounds the same 😞
9. Almost every episode there's a new favorite character, and in the same episode, or the episode after, they die...and that's perfectly fine! Yes, I've developed attachments, and that's great! That means the author did their job! That's what's great about some writer's storytelling, they're not afraid of killing off characters cause it just makes sense. No loopholes or anything to save them (with the exception of Gault because she is a dream). It's their time. And they were memorable however long they had.
