sure I'll buy that going too fast makes temporal anomaly. Sure i can suspend disbelief that maybe the temporal anomaly somehow projects and compresses a whole species-wide future onto an individual person. And sure, hell, maybe time is a fixed dimension and we've got only one possible destined evolutionary future

hello, certainly! “breakfast in bed” is a post-s3 TL fic in which jane has cheated on beard and wants beard to cheat on her, so every week he has some time to himself where he’s out of the house “cheating on jane.” he ends up spending this time with rebecca each week and stuff happens. i have a bunch of little snippets from the various weeks written but probably only a few hundred words total and i have no idea if i will be motivated enough to write it for real before s4.

the pittfic is “coma.” breaking one of my own unofficial rules with this one. even though it’s too soon for me to have an actual prediction on where robby will be at the end of s2 and whether he’ll have a motorcycle accident or not, i started thinking about him getting into an accident before he’s even left pittsburgh and he’s treated in the emergency department before getting moved to the ICU. he’ll be okay, but he’s in an induced coma for a while. i was thinking about how it could be fun (“fun”) to have him as this silent character, listening—as it turns out—to other characters talking about him and to each other. so far all i have is part of a conversation between dana and al-hashimi! i might tinker with it more but i cannot imagine writing again for real until s2 has wrapped up. (but maybe that’ll change?)
