Casual cruelty has become so ingrained in a lot of people because we live in a society that is structured in a cruel way. To be quite honest you are obligated to consider the harm of your words and actions no matter your personal hardships.

FLY SWEEP But seriously good environmental message because yeah a diverse lawn will not really impact the “pesky” things. They are pesky to humans *because* they like our blood or our food or our houses rather than needing all that nature stuff. In some cases they are even benefited much more by urbanization; if anything the last image should also add a bunch of mosquitoes because we end up giving them way more places to breed free of predation. Since my TMNT 139 cover was such a hit, here are the previous several Kevin Eastman collabs I’ve done! Just now noticed I forgot to put my signature on covers 137 and 138 but I assure you it’s me, haha.

So how the process goes is I do the pencils, scan them in and send them to Kevin, then he prints them out and I believe does the inks over top using a light table, then he sends the inks back to me, and finally I do the colors. Last two pics are my original pencils before Kevin inked them.

Fuck, this got deeper than I thought and It's kinda a whole lot, sorry

I uh thought that I had something wrong with me that everyone could see and didn't like but they pretended otherwise all the time. I didn't get dx'ed as a kid and just thought it was normal to structure your entire life around avoiding getting yelled at until I was like 35. I had been masking for 3 decades and didn't realise it. I have no real idea of where the mask ends and I begin, if that distinction even exists.

I made entire series of art in an effort to elucidate this feeling of continual unease I felt. These took the form of shadowy children in oversized hoodies that lived in our world but also half out of it, just like me.

I don't know if this is common or whatver, but I'm also completely aphantasic, the inside of my head is a lightless cavern, filled only with my own constant silent monologue and snippets of music, so it's kinda hard to envision myself as anything

So, not really uplifting but I guess i pictured myself as a kind of wraith, my essence drained by being around most people

Magical girls are often themed and powered around stuff people love like planets or positive emotions or desserts but there should be a setting where they're powered by things large numbers of people hate (but that those specific girls love) like mosquitoes or black licorice. Also they're stronger the more defensive they feel of the thing.
