if u make clark kent say soda you are grossly mischaracterizing him and i wont stand for it
the real reason no one thinks clark is superman is bc they’re all east coasters who constantly mock clark’s usage of “pop” so they never connect mr. “soda” superman to mr. clark “pop” kent
When something tragic happens, tumblr is the only social platform you can escape to. The whole world could be in shambles and y’all are shitposting and reblogging pictures of tiramisu as usual.

An advantage to going out to eat sometimes that I don’t often see people mention is that it can be cheaper if you want to eat something you don’t eat very often.
Like I don’t eat blueberry bagels with cream cheese every day but I do sometimes. Sure I could spend 4 bucks on a really good package of bagels and another 4 bucks on a package of cream cheese I won’t finish or I could drive over to Uncle Harry’s and get one bagel with cream cheese for 2 bucks.
Sure if I did it myself it would be less than 2 bucks per bagel but I don’t eat bagels every day so I’d be paying 8 bucks to let some bagels and cream cheese rot in my house.
Gotta disagree.
First...where the heck are you buying your cream cheese?? An eight ounce block of cream cheese should cost less than two dollars. Maybe even only a dollar, if you buy at a discount store or on sale.
Second, bagels and cream cheese can both be frozen. Divide into individual servings and freeze for whenever you want one. Freezing will solve most, if not all, of the situations you're describing.
Like, if you want a special entree that has rare ingredients or complicated cooking or something, then, yeah, going out might be the cheaper option. For the most part though, cooking it yourself almost always is cheaper, with a little prep.
I based that on actual cream cheese prices at a discount grocery near me and I have limited freezer space. I’m going to the bagel shop.
