About: Hey future Little! I'm Toby Nguyen, and I've been in MEMO ever since fall quarter of my first quarter! Some of my favorite things to do in life involve my friends: playing pool or bowling, then grabbing street tacos, then finding an empty parking lot to talk and chill until 2AM. I also enjoy karaoke (I'm a beatboxer for an acappella group if you wanna come see me perform 😳) and trying new places to eat with friends because, even though I lived in OC my whole life, I still don't know many good food places myself (SO GIVE ME RECS 🤤🤩). Finally, while I haven't had much time recently to do these things, I like going to the gym, playing games like Minecraft, Terraria, and Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel, and dabbling in calligraphy when I'm by myself.

What are you looking for in your future Big/Little?: I'm looking for a Little who is active in MEMO, ambitious with their academics, and not afraid to open up about themselves, so that I can share better advice with them! My favorite way to hang out with people with my busy schedule is study hangouts on campus or at cafes (more recs here too 😃🙏), so I want a Little who is open to spontaneous study hangouts too! I also switched out of pre-med/pre-health, so I would also like someone who is okay with a Big that gives more general advice not specific to pre-med/pre-health.

About: I am from the Bay Area, more specifically, on a small island called Alameda (close by to San Francisco). I love doing photography or anything artsy. My favorite types of photography are landscape and portrait. I also like going on hikes and just hanging out with friends to go on spontaneous trips to scenic places or trying new food. When I don’t have work to do, I like relaxing and just watching anime. I’ve watched over 200 different animes, so if you need any recommendations, let me know! Some of my favorites include Fruits Basket, Bungo Stray Dogs, Hunter x Hunter, Fairy Tail, and more.

What are you looking for in your future Big/Little?: I am looking for someone that is down to earth, and easy to talk to. I hope that I can guide my little in whatever path they take, give them advice, and offer them any opportunities that I might be involved in.

About: I am from Buena Park. My favorite hobby is going on walks, hiking, eating, THRIFTING, and my favorite TV show are Friends, the 100, the Micks, and Modern Family. My favorite type music is indie/hyperpop but sometimes when I need to be awake or working out, EDM. I loveeee playing tennis and honestly just running errands too. I think my love language is quality time so I can a lot of fun doing almost anything like I think I would have fun getting a car wash.

What are you looking for in your future Big/Little?: I think I like someone who is friendly and easy to talk to. Honestly I don’t really mind who I get! I think everyone that I’ve met so far is cool so I’m not picky. :)

About: Hi everyone! My name is Dylan and I am currently in my fourth year, pursuing a degree in psychology. I'm currently on the pre-med track with aspirations of specializing in either anesthesiology or psychiatry. I was born in China and moved here when I was 6 years old. I was fluent in Chinese, but I forgot ALL of it. In my freetime I like going to the gym and working out chest and back (we skip leg day). My goal is to be able to do a handstand pushup and a muscle up. When I am stressed out, I enjoy folding origami while listening to simp music. I also like to shop when I am stressed. Additionally, I enjoy playing FPS games such as Valorant and watching psychological horror movies. Some of my favorite TV shows include The Boys, Game of Thrones, Suits, and The Simpsons. I am a big anime fan as well; some my favorite mainstream anime are naruto, bleach, and attack on titan.

What are you looking for in your future Big/Little?: I look for someone who I can joke with. Someone who likes to workout and enjoy playing video games, watch anime and other tv shoes.

About: My name is An and from Bakersfield, CA! I love to read mystery books, watch thrillers, go on road trips with my family, learn about different cultures, and hang out with my friends. I love writing poems and short stories, and I'm currently picking up crocheting (I have too many failed attempts at flowers). About: Hi future Big! I'm from Sacramento, CA, and my favorite hobbies include thrifting, playing video games, listening to music, and sometimes working out! I also love drinking matcha at coffee shops and exploring different types of matcha lattes in Cali! The most recent TV show I watched was "The Summer I Turned Pretty" and I'm Team Jeremiah all the way! The main music genres I listen to are pop, R&B, and K-pop. I can go all day long listing my favorite artists: Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, Grent Perez, New Jeans, Red Velvet, TXT, SZA, Ariana Grande, etc. I love going to concerts so much and it is one of my favorite things to do in the world. Additionally, I loved going to concerts with my older sister and friends and being able to create those memories with them. Another thing about me is that I practice calligraphy (hand lettering)! When I was in middle school, I used to be obsessed with my friends being able to practice calligraphy so I taught myself how to do calligraphy to join them! Overall, to describe myself, I can be really spontaneous and energetic. But, I would also say I'm a hardworking student with a strong work ethic.

What are you looking for in your future Big/Little?: I want a Big who I can talk to about my academic career and hopefully be able to talk to them comfortably. And most importantly, I just want a Big who has the same sense of humor as me and I can consider them to be my friend. It would also be cool if we share similar interests so that we can bond over it.

As for sports I played golf for 12 years so I love playing golf but I don’t have a lot of time to play now.

What are you looking for in your future Big/Little?: I honestly just look for someone who can be someone I talk to and can ask for support about classes and just being in college. I think, just like for a lot of people, being in college is a very new experience, and I really enjoy asking questions, so having that connection with an upperclassmen would definitely help me navigate this journey!

About: Hey, I’m Michele, and I’m from San Diego, CA! I swam competitively in HS, and other than that, I love scrolling on Pinterest, finding gems at local flea markets and thrifts, working out, and spending lots of time outside. My favorite TV show is Community, but I also love horror movies and I listen to lots of indie, kr&b, and 80s music. Some all-time favorite artists of mine are Childish Gambino, wave to earth, Tyler the Creator, and Red Velvet!

What are you looking for in your future Big/Little?: I'm looking for a big who is both serious about their career, education, and how they choose to spend their time here at UCI, but who also has a sense of humor, emphasis on the humor, and likes to go out. They'd have great time management (work hard, play hard!) and also have the ability to help me academically by being willing to connect me to resources.
