A quiet march into the Dark Forest, eerie and unlike any other. Hidden in shadow were creatures with golden eyes, watching them, studying them, hooting at them. Owls of Wonderland, guardians of the night, gradually took flight to the branches above - heard by all, but never seen.
She was ever-so-tired, legs giving way to the sensation called pain as she stumbled now and again, hand gripped to the arm of Miyuki's own. As if the world bending to her will, a sight appealed to her interests, a current of fresh water tempting the young maiden of magic. Breaking into a run, leaving Miyuki's comforting side, Hikari made her way to the bank of the river, hands reaching in for a drink. "...Eh?" Much to her surprise, the water in question was shaking in the palm of her hand, a round piece of jelly taunting her thirst. with no other source nearby, the child swallowed her fears and took a sip...
...it was refreshing, just like any water in the world as she filled her stomach to the brim.
"Miyuki-chan, here~" Calling out the pink-haired individual, holding out water dancing in her hands, Hikari smiled. "It's water...I think. It actually looks more like a slime. A tasty slime, heehee~!"
Eyes following the flow of strange liquid, a bridge built over the river, the child came to behold a scenery far more stunning than anything the real-life world could offer: An entire landscape of beautiful greenery and yellow leaves with the sun shining bright, birds flying gracefully without a care. "Miyuki-chan, if we could, would you be happy living here?"
