I gave up.
if you’re feeling very overwhelmed and can’t do anything, this is a gentle sign to do a little bit today. set the timer for five minutes and do your best. this is infinitely better than nothing. you can do it 💛
the power of a starbucks coffee on a bad day cannot be underestimated: here i sit drinking my caramel macchiato, beaming while i edit this audio, having written 200 improptu novel words during a quick fifteen-minute break from work, a scrap of paper beside me as a landing spot for all of the business ideas that keep popping into my head unexpectedly while i’m working, and with my brain firing on all cylinders about how to make the editing for this episode particularly good. absolutely ridiculous (affectionate)

2020 Quarantine Challenge
Fri - Do you love or hate rollercoasters?
I love rollercoasters! I used to be afraid of them when I was younger, but I love riding them and are always excited when I visit amusement parks with friends!
Sat - If you could share a meal with any 4 individuals, living or dead, who would they be?
Audrey Hepburn, Emma Watson, Gabrielle Chanel and Michelle Obama - inspirational, smart and classy women who have a lot to say.
Sun - If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have?
I'd love to fly, read minds and have the answer to everything!

26.03.2020 | I officially started studying for a test that will tell if I’m able to work or not after my graduation, not stressful at all (save me)
while the world is currently battling this new outbreak, we’ve all been encouraged (or mandated) to stay at home whether we like it or not in order to keep the spread of this pandemic at bay. and with this current situation, well, there’s really not a lot of errands you can run and social gatherings you can attend. so here’s a short list of things i’ve been planning to do since the “community quarantine”:
1. catch up on my studies
because it is never a good thing to keep your brain idle, especially since class suspension commenced in the middle of exam season, and once the suspension is lifted, the inevitable final exams will come crashing down on us like a fullblown landslide.
2. organize and declutter
well, life’s gonna be on-hold for a month. if not now, then when? starting with my closet down to my kitchen cupboards
3. build a good habit
you know what they say, it takes 28 days to build a habit. so, for the past week, i’ve been sparing 10 minutes of my mornings to meditate with headspace
4. find time to listen to my favorite podcasts
ologies and this podcast will kill you (to name a couple). there’s so much heart and thought that goes into these informative podcasts and i just really love sparing a few hours of my day listening to an episode or two
5. read read read
though the circumstances are unfortunate, i’d say this would be a good time to catch up on my to-read pile. a good book can absolutely compel you stay at home all day
how are you guys faring in your part of the world? i hope all of you are doing well. stay safe and stay at home (unless utterly necessary). and always remember to wash you hands!
hoping for better days~
