hate hate hate how sites are increasingly trying to make right click saving images impossible. facebook, instagram, reddit (app), pinterest*, etc... all make you jump through hoops just to save an image. can you guys not please. how ddo i make them stop. can we get one of those EU regulations or whatever that makes them all comply, or are we going to have to wait for global socialism for that. ugh

what if we were both lost and alone and tasked with saving our planet from an unknown lifeform that was killing our stars, but we're both fascinated by it? it saved one of our lives from radiation poisoning, and we both understand the intricacies and multifariousness of life, and how we need to break free from prior ingrained knowledge and biases to interact meaningfully with new companions. sometimes "righty tighty, lefty loosey" becomes "lefty tighty, right loosey." only once we allow ourselves to think beyond the self-imposed boundaries and accept that discovery often results in shattering what we thought we knew and understood, will we be able to achieve our goals.

it doesn't have to be about something grand. it could be something as simple as changing your approach to obstacles or taking baby steps in improving your daily routine. it doesn't have to be the be-all and end-all; it doesn't have to be in response to a Hail Mary. it just has to come from within, from a place willing to learn and change. but change doesn't necessarily mean you were wrong or you have to be different to grow, it marks an internal deviation that you know will do you good.
