If there is, in the moment of our despair something that was watching us, something that held us as the apple in its eye, something that looks at us like it's favourite sunset, to dictate the terms of our sorrow, our rescue, our demise waiting for us to decide what to do and then finally calling on it. OH God Goddess I need help, help me to shine forth from within, to have peace through the transitions, to be open to change, to see opportunity then act on it, to see what it is I am to bring foreword here, to assist me and my body to health and vitality, help me to know what to say to stand out, help me I'm so lost, I'm so confused, I'm so sad my heart is breaking, I want to see one more morning, etc. This is called surrender. When knowing innately that no one else has the power to answer this distress call. We reach out to that invisible and tangible something and some times when we do it with all our being and believe it answers. There is no higher self or lower self here, there is, however, just oneself. We would like to think we have many versions of self but there is just the Self. By saying there is a lower self we are saying that there is something less than divine. We usually see the lower self as nasty, stupid, ugly, shameful, not me, etc., and we want out of being the lower self, and we want nothing to do with the lower self, immediately now. Dante Alighieri New Daily Inspirational Write Up For Tuesday, Jan 14 You enter the dark woods in the maturity of your years whatever your age may be. Sometimes by accident, some times by tragedy, sometimes by crises, sometimes you trip and fall into the dark wood, your own dark wood. You slip and fall into the woods, like me when I went through my catalyst in active addiction. I was driving down the highway on a rainy Aug night when I was in a severe car accident, here is where I experienced a near-death experience, this experience was where I slipped in fell into the dark wood. My life was at an all-time low, skinny, addicted, aggressive, shaky, scared, hurting, in fear, empty, covered with sickness and pain as I sat in the dark garage In pain after the car accident, broke, sore, losing everything, etc., I contemplated suicide and the end of my life. I fell smack into the dark woods broken, bruised, hollow and alone. You fall into the dark wood, the density of the forest of your pain, of your shame, feeling alienated, feeling that sense of loss, empty hallow, or despair.
