What can you tell me about commissions? I saw what you did for neverlandprince and I really liked it. Do you think you can do something like that for me?

Morning Stretches. A sketch of some poses that became a bigger thing.
Jacob Finley never knew what it was like to see The Ocean or to have Real Friends. Little did he know that one fateful, stormy night would change that forever! Follow the tales of The Merboys, a rag tag pod of Lost, abandoned or forgotten Fish Kids who travel the seas in search of answers, adventure or both. Updates Mondays
Inking practice + experiment with monotone... also I'd probably be a walrus or something.
“Are you sure you’re not bored? Most people think Moby Dick is really boring.”

"I thought for sure that I was doomed. Having grown too excited with the prospect of a cool swim, I eagerly disrobed and dove into the sea. I swam and swam for so long I cannot recall, only to realize that by the time I looked upon land, it had all but vanished. In my panicked foolishness, I thrashed and splashed in a vain attempt to be noticed. It was not long before the waves overtook me.
Down I plunged into Poseidon's domain, too exhausted to save myself. I silently begged the lord of the sea to spare me. That was when the Man appeared. A mane of Auburn hair with the most unearthly blue eyes I ever witnessed. I felt him cradle me like a child and could see a knowing smile as my eyes closed.
'Surely this must be Triton, the god's son himself, come to deliver me to his father.' I mused. I became content with this, for this man was quite striking.
When next I woke, I found myself washed ashore along the beach, my clothes still missing save for a single conch shell laying at my side, adorned with golden patterns of dolphins. Either the young Triton or perhaps Poseidon himself saw fit to spare me and gift me this treasure, one that I carry with me so that I might give thanks to the one who delivered me from the depths."
-Account of Altair Othonos, circa 545 BCE, Keos
What a pitiful thing you are. Your kind always seem to forget the power of the storm and tides. Now you must watch as they swallow you whole, never to see the light of day again. Who am I? It doesn't matter. Just think of me as a 'Shepard' of sorts. Ahh, you seem confused. You see, your life from this point onward is over. The Sea has chosen you and it will have you one way or another. But this does not necessarily mean death, child. Come, let me show you.
I see you do not trust me. I can understand that. Whether you trust me or not is irrelevant to me; come with me and I MIGHT kill you, or stay clinging for life to that piece of flotsam as you wait for help that will never come... which WILL kill you! It's your choice. I know which choice I'd make; the depths can be so lonely.
Make your choice.

Luca spent the whole day in a nervous wreck. Moani had asked to meet up with him that night. THAT. NIGHT! What would he say to her? Should he wear something? Flowers! Yeah, she'd probably like flowers! With a modest bouquet in hand, he waited bobbing on the surface where she asked for them to meet.
The first time they had met, he was still lost, unsure about his future. His Father all but abandoned him back on land, and his only clue to his mother's possible whereabouts was a cryptic message written on parchment in a strange language. He was quite surprised when the tugging on his mind and soul to sea would reveal the truth of his origins: Half Human, so they were called. He discovered in his Human form he could actually breathe water, which aided in his search for his mom, but still ill prepared him for the dangers of life underwater. He had been found half dead by a young girl with beautiful ocher skin and a lush purple fishes tail. He may not have found his mother, but he had found a home in Moani's village, especially once he decided to fully commit to his Mermish heritage.
They remained good friends despite his extremely timid and shy nature. It also didn't help that Moani was his first and so far only crush he had ever had on anyone. He wished he had the courage to at least ask her on a date or something.
Was that what this was?? A DATE?! No, don't be silly, he thought to himself. She's got the pick of every guy who's much stronger, confident and better looking than you! Why on earth would she waste her time dating some nobody half human just because they happened to be friends.
In his train of thought, he hadn't noticed a girl with ebony hair and ocher skin rise from the waves. She leaned forward, grabbed the boy by his face and kissed him square on his lips. The young Mers bobbed in the waves, Luca stunned by the sudden yet welcome surprise.
