Earlier today while I was waiting for the bus I witnessed a man walk up to his girlfriend, who couldn’t have been older than 18, kick her handbag, spit on her and scream in her face that she was a cunt. He walked back into the bus shelter after telling her she was worthless and pathetic and kicking her in the gut then as she tried to follow he turned around to grab her. I got in between them and told him that he should never EVER spit on a woman, hit her or talk to her in that way. He laughed in my face and said he would “fuck me up”. I looked him square in the eye and told him that I was not afraid of him. He proceeded to scream obscenities at her as I took her away from him, then he shouted to me that he could walk round the corner to get people to kill me. Feeling defiant, I said “go on, I dare you, there’re plenty of people around to witness it.” The prick then walked right up to me and head butted me in the nose. I am now sporting a swollen face and the beginnings of a black eye but the police took swabs from my nose to get his DNA and they know exactly who he is. Cunt’s going down for assault. Motherfuckers don’t treat women like that and get away with it. I feel heroic.

That’s right bitches. Women deserve respect.

I cannot believe this is still going around, please stop reblogging a lie. look, the makeup job is mediocre and her eye is completely normal aside from being slightly purple tinged towards the nose???? it would be closed more, swollen, and probably red on the actual white bit on the eye from burst blood vessels. I’ve seen an actual post debunking this really effectively but the general gist is that you made up this story to gain brownie points and give feminism a little nudge on the bum or whatever because you posted a selfie four days later where you were completely fine. anyways, please don’t, I know you’re just trying to instill hope and also gain some followers/popularity but seriously there’s no need for fake stories like this. if someone has a link to the debunking that’d be very nice of you to post it below. uvu have a nice day guys.

Don’t tell me that Gender Fluid is a lie. Don’t tell me that Gender Fluid is just a phase. Don’t tell me that Gender Fluid is childish.

I live and breath my gender fluidity. I proudly stand within the Gender Queers in support of a new, gender variant society.

Gender is the seed that has sprouted into the discriminatory, bigoted & bland society we live in. When you dig down deep into the issues surrounding the world right now it all comes back to one tiny little fuck up. The idea that biological sex somehow determines the gender roll of individuals is a lie. In fact, gender rolls is a lie. Just because I identify as gender fluid does not mean that I must uphold any societal expectation, associated with gender fluidity.

Plain and simple, I plan on having two children. I will not teach my little boy to “be a man.” I will not teach my little girl what it means to “be a woman.” Instead, i’ll teach my children to just simply be good people. Because a society full of good people makes for a better life than a society full of classified, judgmental, opinionated and shallow people.

The Slightly Disturbing Sculptures of Ishibashi Yui

Japenese artist Ishibashi Yui’s sculptures are both unsettling and serene. Using a variety of materials, such as wood, resin, cloth, clay, steel wire, and stone powder, she often depicts figures whose roots extend and project outward in many directions. These figures appear passive and complacent to these protruding branches, aware of the lack of control they have over this organic process. Some of these protrusions seem painful or unexpected, but ultimately inevitable. Often her figures are off-white, while their protrusions are green or red-hued. These figures are human-like, but their soft, round and white bodies give the viewer a sense they are also of the earth, resembling a plant’s bulb. Yui’s work makes us deeply aware of how we are intertwined with the natural world, and the balance and cycle of nourish and depletion that living and dying requires.
