What did you do after I took you back that year? Fuck, you broke up with me again after those messages and then I took you back another time. Twice in that same year. And still the last time I took you back that year and we were together since. What did you do in the last three years after? Still did shit behind my back that hurt me and lost my trust, still took me for granted, didn’t work on loving yourself. I was still there trying to cope with the hurt you caused my heart, still there giving my everything to be taken for granted, still there trying to help you love yourself and work on yourself all while trying to work on my own self. That’s not fucking fair.

From February 2017. 3 fucking years ago. This is why I’m exhausted. This is a great example of one reason why I couldn’t take it anymore. The same conversations three years later.

By the end of the relationship you disrespected me, took me for granted, and I didn’t feel like I would ever be enough to keep you from straying. I never lied, never cheated, and was somehow still being accused. I was empty, exhausted, hurt. I fucking warned you this was your last chance and you pushed too far yet again. Always pushing to see how far you can go. Always pushing my limits in the most unhealthy ways. My heart was already cracked from the past damage it was trying to heal and it broke beyond repair this time.

All I ever did was try my hardest for you. To be everything you ever wanted, and time after time all you did was show me I wasn’t enough. I started out trusting you with my whole heart. As time went on you showed me too many times I could not. You hurt and betrayed me in every possible way you can to someone you love. I gave everything in me there was to give until there was nothing left. I spent all my time with you, loving you, caring about you, your family, a future, your future, even AFTER everything you put me through. How do you repay me after everything you put me through? Everything I’ve done for you? You flirt with my sister. One of my best friends, my family. How do you ever love and trust a person after somehing like that. After everything you put me through how do you go lower. That fucking hurt me more than you’ll ever know. I still struggle with it, I still struggle with everything. You know what else fucking hurts? Being called a liar and hypocrite after it all. After all I did to try and make things work between us. To try and end things on a positive note between us. I haven’t hung out with or even spoken to any of your “friends” because I told you I wouldn’t do that. And you know damn well I’m not that kind of person. Either you’re being paranoid or someone is feeding you bullshit. I haven’t “replaced” you either. It hurts because I know you’re probably still liking my friends’ shit too. Things weren’t supposed to end this way but they had to. You hurt me so many times I couldn’t take it anymore. I didn’t think you could hurt me anymore and you did.

Witches Tomb in St. Omer’s Cemetery

This particular headstone in St. Omer’s Cemetery is rumored to be that of a witch’s grave. According to local lore, Caroline Barnes, one of four people buried under the massive stone, was put to death for practicing witchcraft. It is said that no pictures can be taken of her monument, and that it glows on moonless nights.

Local citizens grow nervous whenever the story is mentioned, Most strikingly, Caroline’s impossible date of death chiseled in the granite: February 31. Local folk say they tried to kill Caroline by hanging her but that didn’t kill her so they buried her alive. When they went back to see if she was dead, they said she was gone.
