This blog will chronicle the events, history, and works of the whump community. Additionally, helpful resources will be compiled, and informal community research will occasionally be conducted.

ANNOUNCEMENT: Community Works

Hello friends! One of the new resources I will be working on is collecting the works of our talented community :)

Because there are just absolutely so many, it's going to be initially restricted.

Written works (ie. stories, poems) will be added if they are complete, at least 5k words collectively, and have a masterlist (so I can ensure I've not missed any parts of the story in my blog backup).

Traditional artworks (ie. drawings, paintings) will not yet be added as I can't figure out a good way to organize that at the moment. Any suggestions are helpful.

Video works (ie. video edits, video compilations) will be added if they are longer than 30 seconds and are edited (ie. not just 30+ uninterrupted seconds of a scene).

Suggestions and comments are welcome. Thanks everyone :)

I did not disappear off the face of the Earth, I was just very very busy!

I have updated the 2026 Events list. It'll be continued to be updated for the year as more events are announced. Despite having already occurred, I did add all events from January to May both for record keeping and if anyone wanted to see the prompts.
