⚠️🚪SPOILERS FOR THE BACKROOMS MOVIE🚪⚠️ sorry for the way I wrote that I just finished watching the movie and I can't quite gather my thoughts heheh

I just watched the *Backrooms* movie with my older sister. It was amazing!!!!! I have so many thoughts about it and I don't think I can quite put them into words properly. Still, I want to say that the dinner scene was incredible, but what really caught my attention was when Clark said "i don't think i want change" and "i like it in here" That reminds me that the backrooms and liminal spaces in general were weird and strange, yet they still felt comfortable and safe. Many people described them that way. then he says that" For the first time in a long time i feel like i'm...like i'm right where i'm supposed to be." It was really sad, but I think he truly believed in it—there was no way to help him, and well, he ended up the way he did. It reminds me of how people with trauma and unhealthy behaviors don't want to change, even when they know it will end badly for them. As is often said in the film: looking at you're life through a window. Sorry, I don't know if what I wrote makes much sense.
