Today I did a pendulum session and reading on the fox spirit that follows me. They are my familiar I petitioned for when I was 16.

I am so glad to know these things! I asked them if it was okay if we did a tarot reading. They agreed. This was the result! I also pulled two lesson cards from the whispering woods deck! That deck is actually the final domino that fell and made me decide to start a forest/green witch path.

Stuck in the City: Forest Witch Edition

It can be difficult to do witchcraft and connect to nature when stuck in a supremely urban area such as a downtown of a major city where even parks are hard to come by and collecting items there could be considered vandalism. I need a perfume that smells like a forest at midnight after it rained and somewhere close by there's a fragrant orange tree. you can also smell woodsmoke from a fire someone's burning far away, maybe they're also making cinnamon tea. a waft of crisp wind goes by you and you sense there must also be a berry bush in this forest. the ancient stars are looking down at you and you feel the moon's silver light on your skin. you feel this strange, tingling sensation like the trees are whispering secrets to one another. the night is quiet but alive, an exhilarating adventure on the horizon.
