Murphy raised his head at the other mans choice of descriptors “You a Tetra?” It wouldn’t hurt to ask, if he wasn’t then it wasn’t like he’d have any idea what a Tetra was. Most people didn’t.

Alice took a shaky step back, the body she had been feeding from slumped down the wall and groaned. Alice wiped her mouth roughly with the back of her hand. God…she was shaking so bad that she could barely kneel to see if he was alive or not. The cold ground cut into her bare knees but she did not feel it. Nor did she reach out to her poor Victim. Too wrapped up in her own self misery and panic, Alice did not hear the footfalls behind her, or see the shadow stretch out over her and the boy.
Murphy was walking back to where he had left his bike after what had been an unexpectedly long visit into town, usually his trips in were short and only used to stock up on whatever he happened to need but he had been in one of his rare moods where he actually wanted to be around others. He was just emerging out of the alleyway when he saw her, well actually he saw the boys body first. Only when he recovered from the initial shock did he take in the woman. His first instinct was to keep walking, just continue onto his Harley as though he hadn’t seen anything. Being a native of Red Creek he had seen his fair share of vampires, knew it was best to avoid them while feeding unless you wanted to end up a blood bag. A cruel but true reality of life here. It was the way she was acting however that caused him to push that instinct aside, she acted as though horrified with her own actions....she was probably a newbie then. Shit. Could he really just leave this girl kneeling over the kid? She obviously wasn’t in any state to do anything about it. The Tetra was answered when he found himself striding forward, moving around the girl to kneel on the opposite side of her. He took a good look at the boy, a real good look. Reaching out and feeling the pulse point along his neck and then the one on his wrist, weak but there. “Clean yourself up quick- he ain’t gonna make it less we get him to a hospital fast.” He wasted no time in scooping the boys limp body into his arms.

The reaction of the male was one that Sesha was not expecting. The way he stumbled on his words to find the other made her wonder why he was here in the first place. The laughter of the group of men that was with this man seemed to annoy her. “No offense taken. If you want, we can get out of here, leave these idiots to cat-call another women,” she offered the man in attempts that he would accept her offer.
Murphy slowly lifted his head, considering her offer. In a place like this that offer could be taken....a certain way. The tetra didn’t think she meant it like that though, she seemed to genuinely have a problem with the way the other men were treating him. “Um...yeah I’d like that. Best offer I’ve had all night in fact” The prospect of leaving causing a bit of his normal humor to slip through. The man stood up rather shakily, it felt as though the proximity to everyone was somehow closer. “Would you mind leading the way? I know this sounds stupid but uh...when I get panicky i get this thing....I can’t really see all that well right now.”

Murphy could tell that his girl wasn’t going to accept 195 and no matter what happened between him and the guys in suits it wasn’t worth arguing with her over the painting “One fifty it is, just do me a favour and don’t tell anyone about this. I can’t really do that for everyone.”
