I don’t know why it bothers me that you can buy a 1:00 song on iTunes for $1.29 and an 8:00 song for the same price. I guess because It’s not the time that should determine the price, it’s the beauty and depth of the song.

I like Yeasayer a lot, this is from their new album, the third one, "Fragrant World". I have never seen them live but I hope I can soon.
I've been out for a while, very sorry for that, didn't have much time. But here we are again with this amazing duo. The Presets know how to move your feet and they are back with their 3th studio album: Pacífica [2012]. "Youth in trouble" is the single, but if you can, please hit "A.O.", "Fast Seconds" or "Push"... The Presets.
Don't really know much about these one, I guess I should look for them and see. For now, here is "Fuckarias" a track played by Those Dancing Days. Fast, electronic, rocker, punk... I think.
So, for those who didn't know, this guy reached number one un UK charts along with Tinie Tempah in their collaboratios for Tinie's "Pass Out" in 2010. Now he has his own album called "Electronic Earth" released this year. From this, we have here a pure super funk track called "Express Yourself" the most different track in the whole album wich has a more dubstep hard-electro style, obviously with the hip-hop ingredient. Not bad
I was thinking on the last post: if you don´t know those tracks made for Converse...
01. Santigold, Pharrell & Julian Casablanca - My Drive Thru
02. Kid Cudi, Bethany Consentino, & Rostam Batmanglij - All Summer
03. Andre 3000, Gorillaz & James Murphy - Do Ya Thing
04. Mark Foster, A-Trak & Kimbra - Warrior
AMAZING!!! What a great track they did here. I think this is another one from Converse. Did you knew they have something called "3 artists, 1 song" and it is as simple as that, one song by 3 different artists... like this one. I have heard 3 more, all are nice, but I think this one is another level.
You all know The Arcade Fire right? What a great album they did with "The Suburbs" back in 2010. Well, these days, 2012, what brought to us is an amazing remix for "Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)" by one of the most amazing bands on the planet: Soulwax. You all have to hear this, one of the most well done remixes I've ever heard to this band The Arcade Fire - Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains) (Soulwax rmx)
Funny faces huh? Look closer and you'll find both sides, both personalities and opposites of what we call Dada Life. This time these swedish guys took "Girls Gone Wild" from the latest album MDNA [2012] of course... Madonna. Remixes they've made so far have great quality, but this... this is a master-blowingminds-piece.Get ready for a great night with a great Friday track Madonna - Girls Gone Wild (Dada Life rmx)
SUPERMAN
So, I realize lately I've been listening to two songs with Superman in their names. I typed the word in my iTunes and these bunch came out...
01. The Big Pink - Hit The Ground (Superman) [2012]
02. The BPA - Superman (ft. Simon Thornton) [2009]
03. Eminem - Superman [2002]
04. Kashmir - Bring Back Superman [1997]
05. Santigold - My Superman [2008]
06. Holy Ghost! - Superman [2007]
07. Moullinex - Superman [2010] (on an earlier post)
How many songs does this guy inspired? What about the other ones?
OMG!! You got me dancing Moullinex!! It is inevitable, love this. Back from 2010 Superman might well be a hit these days.
Paul Marshall, better known as Lone Wolf, gave us a new song as a preview of his forthcoming second album under this name, the follower to "The Devil and I" [2010]. I met this guy reading the recommendation of Tom Fleming one member of Wild Beasts. Under his own name he edited a record named "Voltures" back in 2007, he was signed to Bella Records and that is when he changed his name. These guy played all instruments for his albums except drums, trumpets and strings. His music has a little melancholic feeling along with his voice, but it is not for that sad music.
With vocals from Dave (Chromeo) and remixed by Oliver, this track gets the disco vibes. I've liked Punks Jump Up for a while now... never desappointing.
So... I think they´re from London, but not certain yet. A combination of electronic-reggae-funk-pop-jazz is what I read in the blog I took this from... really, it sounds just like that. These guys are brothers, Elliot and Natalie Bergman, and their name is Wild Belle in facebook and bandcamp. This song is "Keep you" wich was released along with "Take me away", the only two tracks they have released. Great future is what I see here.
iTunes irony
Mmm... On May 5th there was a festival going on here in Mexico City, today they announced it was cancelled. "Festival 5punto5" was the name and names like Kanye West, tUnE-yArDs, Little Dragon, The Ting Tings and others were ready for the meeting. I had my iTunes playing and shuffling, and played me Over Again. Ghostland Observatory was also a name for the festival and also one of my favorite ones in it. Maybe next time.
Last night a friend of mine illuminated me with this one. London the band... France the label. Kitsuné, of course, the album is set to be released 28th May... a month from here! I really want to hear that album now (in just 24 hours)
