Love a big Sunday lunch tomorrow I’m making for the first plate tagliatelle with crema di patate and sausage and then for second eggplant Parmesan and chicken cutlet with lemon to squeeze. I’m starting on the sauce now at 10pm I bleed for this. For dessert gelato and peaches

Ok the appearance leaves something to be desired I simply don’t use puff pastry that often so when it gets sticky I am just like whatever. But best easy dinner today is this. I made one open faced and the other closed. Both with potato sausage and broccoli and smoked provolone 🤩

what a gorgeous dinner! could you share how you cooked the beans pretty please

hi!! wow i got so many messages about the beans!

first i made a chimichurri by super finely chopping oregano, parsley, and 2 big cloves of garlic, mixing them with a good olive oil, s&p, and some red wine vinegar and letting it sit for a while to allow the oil absorb some of the flavor

then i coated two skin-on chicken breasts in that oil and cooked them in a cast iron pan, about 10 min on each side until they were to temp and super crispy

when the chicken was done, i removed it from the pan, and added one can of pink beans directly to the pan with the remaining chicken juices (you can use any kind of bean, but kidney is my preference). after cooking on medium heat for a few minutes i gave them a light mash with a fork, added a big spoonful of the chimichurri, a bit more salt, and let them cook for another 5 min

the asparagus was just roasted in a pan with olive oil and salt until super soft inside and slightly charred on the outside

then plate and top with the rest of the chimichurri! all very simple and comes together quickly, but truly one of my favorite meals

Homemade condiments make everything better. I love fish sticks. My tartar has homemade mayo from my friend, yogurt, dill, chopped cornichon +brine, lemon, hot sauce. Mint lemony peas and easy mac +added sharp cheddar period
