This-is-transandrophobia hasn’t posted for a couple days and I don’t wanna seem wierd but each time I’ve seen a trans masc / trans man positive blog stop posting it’s cause of harassment

ive noticed that sometimes he goes offline for some period of time. i dont know if its to do with harrassment each time or if its just wise to get off social media for a while sometimes, especially as a trans man in a deeply transandrophobic community

either way, yeah, trans men/trans man positivity blogs get harrassed off the internet all the time. trfs literally drove a trans woman who was pro trans man to suicide and then never talked about it again (idk if she actually killed herself or not. last I saw she posted "I'm going to kill myself" in response to a trf telling her to kill herseld and then never posted again. its been several months. could be changed now). they love to talk about how transfem trfs are run off the internet because of "transandrobros" when usually theyre just upset that trans men are upset because they hate trans men, meanwhile they send "transandrobros" rape and death threats, misgender us, ect

either way, i hope the person behind that blog is doing well. given the messages that ive received, i can imagine that a lot of trans men are getting those as well and that can be really hard to deal with, so your fears are not unfounded

whats interesting about the take that the word femboy is used derogatorily towards trans women to masculinize them is that its true, but it also applies to trans men. trans men are also labeled as femboys in an effort to feminize us. also, the word butch is also used derogatorily towards trans men in order to feminize us, BUT the word butch is also used derogatorily towards trans women to masculinize them. and all of these terms are used against nonbinary people to force them into a gender binary/expression that they dont want. and all of these terms can be used by all of these groups and the people who use them are valid, but they are also used derogatorily towards trans people who DONT identify those ways in an effort to misgender us. interesting stuff
