i give it scant years before desktop computers come back fashion a la record players and people talk about bringing back computer rooms, not taking your computer around the house, "intentional" computing, "it's really important to take the time out and just sit with your computer and really absorb the action of computing" it will be no different from the romance and nostalgia surrounding the notion of throwing on a vinyl

Debut LP from a one-man black metal project. His music combines black metal with post-punk and synth-pop. Shrieked black metal vocals and smooth synths over distorted guitars playing post-punk riffs. It's extremely fun. I loved this release, and I highly recommend giving it a try.

imo the way you feel about groups it's fully socially acceptable to hate (like children or polyamorous people, among others) is the canary in the coal mine for underlying bigoted beliefs. if you're only supportive of marginalized groups when it's cool to do so, probably you don't actually care about marginalized groups, you care about other people thinking you care

especially if that hatred plays into essentialist rhetoric, like when people try to assert that polyamorous people are all innately morally corrupt. hell, even when it comes to groups that occupy positions of power and are actually harmful to others, the rhetoric you use to talk about that harm really shows me how susceptible you are to bigoted beliefs and, if brought to its extreme, genocidal and eugenicist thinking.
