I’ve always been very clear that I’m making up a lot of the lore and story bits for myself on the spot. I have not read Silmarillion (nor do I have any plans to at the moment), and while I have read all of Lord of the rings and The Hobbit, it was years ago and in Swedish, also I was like 14 and did not understand a lot
So, things are gonna be wonky, and incorrect. Characters ages are gonna change. The way the political system works. Sexualities. Family trees. All of it is done to fit the narrative of the world, or at least for the convenience of the story I wish to tell.
If you’re a die hard lotr fan who doesn’t like when things are changed? That’s fine! If you have no problem with things being changed, but don’t like the way I do it? That’s fine too! You just, dont follow the blog, simple as that. If you have a direct problem with it, then it is very easy to block other blogs. And if you don’t care at all about the more ‘original’ story I’m telling and are just here for the incorrect quotes for your favorite ship, that is totally fine as well. I just hope that in some way this blog brings you joy
But if I get one more fricking message about how it lotr “actually works” or whatever, I’m gonna loose it
Also! Some of you are new! And if you are new and curious about my versions of all of this but you don’t know how to learn, then I’d recommend just checking in my old master post on my main account. It’s a little dated, with some info and lore having been changed afterwards, but it covers most of the bowman family stuff, along with the entirety of the dragon lore, plus some Aralas and Barduil sprinkled in between.
