Playing thousand year door (remake) for the first time (I’ve only ever played 64) and one of my main reoccurring thoughts is: wow Goombella is such a better party member than goobario. Like oh my god she runs circles around him. Goombella makes me actually like using tattle, and I always check with her in new rooms. Goombario is just kid (boy). Nothing about him. You could say TTYD has generally better party members in terms of personality but I don’t think any example is as striking as these two.

I hate Batman Hush 2019 plot twist so much because they completely change the size of the riddlers neck to make it work

It’s obviously supposed to be the doctor who also has a tree trunk neck is hush, but no hush takes off the bandages and he suddenly has a normal man neck. Bitch you’re not fooling anyone. Not only does that not make any god damn sense but the riddler was barely in the movie it’s such an asspull.

As an autistic person I gotta say the phrase neurospicy is like nails on a chalk board and if you say it I’m gonna immediately hate you. My autism and adhd are not some quirky disorder. I’m very pro self diagnosis but I’m convinced people who say this don’t know what the fuck these things are. Autism isn’t just “being an introvert who gets really into nerd things” it’s this disconnect that I feel with everyone around me. It’s trying to understand and be better but coming to terms that, maybe, never will. It’s a struggle I live with and though I am proud to be autistic I would never stop calling it a struggle.

Neurospicy is the gentrified version of that. Something that’s nice and fun sounding, as to not make the neurotypicals uncomfortable. I will forever hate it, even after the reaper takes my soul to the river of the damned.

The original mad max is such a difficult movie for me because I like all the pieces but I just don’t like how they’re done in the movie. Max starting out as an action hero guy is cool, but feels weird with how he only does anything at the end of the movie. His wife’s plotline is incredibly gripping and way more interesting than anything with max, to the point that I kind of wish the story was about her, she feels a little wasted just being an origin story for max.

There’s also the fact that it really goes weak on the whole apocalypse setting, I get that they had a budget but I feel like it wouldn’t cost too much to give the characters (especially the villains) more interesting designs. You could pull a bunch of close out of a lost and found and then give a few of them cool masks and it would be great. It also makes Mad Max 2 feels like it takes place in a complete different universe than the original, but I’m not going to fault it for that.

Idk just my thoughts. Mad Max 2 and Fury Road are all time banger’s though.
