We had such a great night at our vernissage at Rack Gallery this week! For two days Metro MTL was able to spread it wings and say hello to the public. We are so thankful for all our supporters! With our official launch of the website we even collaborated with a great Montreal based company called "Monhood." Our new tote bags are in store! We cant wait to see what comes next.

Metro MTL launches fine art photography series of all 68 metro stations by local artist, Tuesday October 7th at Rack gallery. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Montreal, QC – October 3, 2014

Over the past two years, local artist Jesse Riviere has photographed all 68 metro stations in Montreal. Today under the banner Metro MTL, Riviere opens shop online where Montrealers from across the globe can buy fine art photography of each metro station via www.metromtl.com. This launch will be celebrated with a vernissage over 2 days at Rack Gallery in St-Henri:

MetroMTL.com was conceptualized when Riviere had the desire to discover every metro station by running to sit on different benches before the doors would close. Each station is unique and was designed by a different architect. Public art is an important aspect of Montréal culture and the metro system is perhaps it’s best display of it. With this he discovered the unique individuality of each station and decided to capture them into artworks. Metro MTL strives to bring beauty of Montreal metros onto the wall of residential and commercial spaces throughout the world.
