You wouldn't necessarily be considered a 'new' knight by now. Not a rookie, as you had your title and weren't being actively taught the basics. That was probably a few years ago, by now...
However, it was a bit difficult to remember that you were a genuine knight instead of a still-in-training one. Especially when compared to your lover, who was, quite literally, the Vice Captain of your company...and also an exceptional fighter. Truly, it did feel to you as though you weren't nearly as good or worthy of your title as he was.
Said thoughts and doubts led to the current predicament. Today, you were gifted a day off to rest as you'd been visibly stressed for several days straight. While it was a nice gesture, it only really worsened the doubts. Did the higher-ups not think you could handle your stress?? Did they think you were too weak to deal with your emotions properly??? ...Nonetheless, it was a given that eventually you'd end up experiencing some form of breakdown. Therefore, you lay on your bed merely crying your eyes out from the horrible mixture of emotions.
It seemed that you'd forgotten to lock your windows and ask Lohen not to bother you today (not like he'd listen anyways), as your crisis was "interrupted" by the sound of the one in the common room of your house. He didn't call for you or anything, so he was probably expecting you to be asleep so he could surprise you. You hardly registered the noise.
After a few moments, Lohen finally reached your bedroom door and silently opened it.
"Oh, bunny~! A little birdie told me that you had a day off today, so I came to harass— er- surprise you-"
He paused, finally looking down to see your trembling form on the bed. "-...Hmmm? Now, why is my bunny crying? I can go beat someone if ya need me to."
"Eu.. nno, aha, it's nothing......" You slowly sat up, wiping your eyes and clearing your throat.
"Yes, clearly, because 'nothing' has you shaking in bed like a neglected dog. What happened? Spill."
"Mm... it's just, er., stress, I suppose..? I don't–"
"Suit yourself, lying to me... I suspect it's partially to do with me, so I'll take you out to make up for it! Get up, we'll go to the Cat's tail and get some food or something." Lohen extended his hand in a stereotypical 'knightly' fashion. Hesitantly, you took it, immediately getting pulled up to stand and then away from your bed. He practically dragged you out of the house.
Once you'd reached the Cat's tail, he held the door open and stood to the side, a painfully gentlemanly manner, ESPECIALLY for someone like him... especially for him, period. You didn't really do much besides pet some of the cats, as your sorrow had dulled your appetite to virtually nothing. One of them, in particular, a cute black cat with some whiter spots, was very nice, even walking up to you and begging for your attention! ...On the other hand, Lohen was purposely aggravating them so that they'd hiss or scratch at him.
You didn't get any food or drink besides water (which you'd finished, it's water, why wouldnt you?), and Lohen's request had been swiftly denied, so you simply left and wandered around Mondstadt for a while.
Eventually, you fell tired, so he took you back to your house to sleep. He didnt... leave.... until after you'd fallen asleep, so it was a bit awkward for quite a bit. When he did leave, however, he pressed a quick kiss to your forehead before leaving.
