My current state of affairs is reading another manga that has a female protagonist and thinking, “oh that’s Elizabeth.” Like no the fuck she’s so different from Emma- oh wait no in terms of morality they’re quite literally the same. How about Coco- nope, she’s also striving for accessibility and equity. Anya though- the literal plot is about empathy and making destined enemies love each other. Maybe Lucy- nah fam she has a whole ass arc about being the kind girlboss. Kaguya- still no she literally contributed to multiple societies. Oh what about Maomao- oh right she’s an apothecary.

The only guy I remember that is very different from Elizabeth in terms of morality is FRIEREN. And even then they have white hair so I still go back to her. There’s probably SOMEONE but like. They’re sparse? Wow okay. Go I guess.

She haunts me with every narrative.
