Just look at her now though.

In the first movie, she was white as a sheet, with fake colours, hair and emotions.

She looks more natural in the second movie because Katniss and Peeta inspired her, and she felt close to them. Now that they’re being ripped away from her, she doesn’t love the Capitol enough to smile.

She’s burning with fear and anger and sorrow.

Robert gets so much credit for perfectly portraying a shitty excuse for a character because he read the script as some sort of depressed weirdo but nobody ever stops to think that maybe that’s how Kristen read the script for Bella. And Snow White? She was fighting for her life the entire time and was a teenager. I very seriously doubt that anybody would be smiling and happy if that happened in their life.

She has stated several times that she doesn’t smile for the cameras because it’s expected of her, because paparazzi are making money off of taking pictures of her and making shit up. I wouldn’t fucking smile either.

And as a woman who gets told on an almost daily basis that I need to smile more, fuck you. She doesn’t owe you any facial expression, especially when all you seem capable of doing is ridiculing her.

So shut the fuck up.
