Alfred Wayne the babies baby of all
being a fan of bruce and damianâs relationship means getting severe whiplash with every new batman ongoing. in one comic bruce cheers for damian at his soccer games in the next heâs putting him through horror movie levels of psychological torment.
Okay then. How would you write the story of Talia and Bruce and Damian then? You have to keep her just as evil as she is can be. What is the solution for this character that avoids every thing that you dont like about it.
what dc writers do again and again thatâs racist is them not separating a characterâs cultural background vs the lifestyle they choose to live, fun fact : unlike what those racist writers would have you believe, eco-terrorism and cults are not apart of chinese or arab culture, and implying that instead of drawing a line between the way of life that these characters chose and their ethnic background IS racist since it doesnât just imply that this fictional character is evil but also that the whole population of that ethnicity that actually exists in real life is also evil, itâs crazy to me that people think ethnic villains cannot be portrayed as evil w/o making it racist. So basically my solution is that they need to stop implying that the evil things they do is because of their cultural traditions rather than a choice they made.
Bueno pibes ahora si podemos hablar de los incendios en San Luis, San Juan y Salta?????

âViolent natureâ I swear people just be saying shitđ in what universe is Damian hurting Jon and Jon keeps coming back like an abuse victim I genuinely cannot wrap my head around it
If we wanna be TECHNICAL, Damian is the one whoâs been abused & neglected all throughout his life by the people he loves most and still comes back each and every time!!!!
Superman said, âall immigrants are people and deserve respect and love they arenât aliens they are humans and the people who disagree should dieâ and supergirl said, âA womenâs purity shouldnât be defined by the man who has caused them harm and the exploitation of young women is disgusting and the men who do such things should dieâ and they are right
whenever someone claims that dc has favoritism towards or treats damian exceptionally well itâs like. lol. lmao even.
At this point I'm simply tired of people calling Damian a nepo-baby because if you actually read the comics, which most people didn't apparently, you would know at least half of DC hate this child to an unreasonable degree.
Like...how do you look at a non-white child that DC uses to discredit his parents long romance, that Bruce needed to meet three times until he was allowed to join the household (which they didn't show), who got killed by Bruce's actions and even after reviving him got abandoned by him and blamed for Alfred's death (when he only exactly followed Bruce's orders) and to this day gets treated like a problematic burden by Batman writers and think: Oh yeah, this is the poster-child of nepotism. Doesn't matter that Bruce openly dislikes this child and refuses to take responsibilty in a lot if not most stories.
Me when Supergirl convinces the 13 year old not to kill the irredeemable villain because it would retraumatize her: yeah ok fair enough :/
Me when Supergirl kills the irredeemable villain herself the second Ruthyeâs back is turned, thus ending the cycle of abuse without involving the terrified grieving child: YEAH OK FAIR ENOUGH :D
DC introduced a new trans character, her name is Alya "Please Don't Call Me Al" "Featherweight" Raatko, she's the white granddaughter of Ra's Al Ghul, her superpower is having incredible super-strength but only when she's angry, she's 25 but has ship tease with Klarion, and also she looks like the two cis old men that designed her browsed r/traaa and couldn't get licensing for Blahaj from Ikea in time to shoehorn it into her design. and all this after they fired that trans writer for clowning on Kirk and refused to pay her.
So batman (2025) and detective comics (2016) are two books of the SAME character yet you can tell that tom taylor actually understands bruce and even though he is NOT an amazing writer, he does understand the basics and knows how to characterise him while if you read matt fractionâs batman youâd genuinely be wondering who that guy is and what did he do with bruce, like tom taylor was literally having bruce hug damian and comfort him while bruce was actively dealing with a disease destroying his nervous system and at the around the same time, matt fraction had bruce yell and destroy a punching bag that damian was using in front of him in a fit of rage (instead of worrying abt his son that was actively) bleeding because of a smaller inconvenience, this is just a comparison so people can understand how horrible the new batman book is.
The thing is i genuinely can not imagine bruce actually acting this way in this situation, yes he would be mad but he wouldnât be THIS mad, especially since when the situation isnât smth that is morally wrong like killing or purposefully stabbing him in the back and breaking his trust, he generally remains calm and goes by âwell whatâs done is done now we need to figure out how to actâ instead of losing his marbles, because real bruce wouldnât think thatâs productive since it achieves nothing.
These remind me of this drawing by Franz Kafka from the 1900s. We've been feeling this way for a long time.
